oldbuckster
The man who coined the words, "Rhythmn and Blues", Stax Records producer, co- founder of Atlantic Records, A GIANT in the Recording Industry, has gone on to the "Recording Studio In The Sky", back with Otis, and Ahmett .................. Jeff Matthews
I never knew who he was until I saw the recent PBS program in honor of Ahmet Ertigan. Wexler was interviewed extensively in that program. It was a facinating program to say the least.

oldbuckster
This was an important man in the Recording Industry ................ Remember, Atlantic Records had the BEST ACTS, Otis Redding, Arthea Franklin, The Rolling Stones, and a little "other English Band" .............. Led Zeppelin ..... to name a few ............... bluesboy
The local paper here ran an artical on Mr Wexler Saturday on his passing. Included was a picture of him next to his McIntosh amp, preamp and tuner. It's a pretty cool shot. I was wondering if any of you guys saw it.
