xj220
Does anyone know what the best SVS sub I can get with a price range of $1000-1700? P.S. help would really be appreciated. Thanks ------------------ Jim Davis
boa12
xj, www.svsubwoofers.com . they do get better as they go up in price & there now i would prefer a nonpowered (cs) w/ a good amp (like the samson they sell there) over a self-powered pc. unless you really need the convenience or lower overall price of a pc series. ------------------ My Home Systems Page

jhawk92
Hey Boa- Your statement about preferring a CS-series vs a PC-series on the SVS...how come? Just interested in your thoughts. BTW, sorry about your Cyclones, though they always play Roy and the Boys at home. Hope they keep the streak going.
ttubbiola
With your stated budget I would probably get the Dual 16-46CS+ system with the Samson 1000w amp for $1599. This gets you extremely low extension and huge spl with plenty of headroom. http://www.svsubwoofers.com/svscsplus.htm

eq_shadimar
I just ordered a dual 20-39CS+ with Samson 1000 package and it was $1499 plus $60 shipping. I can't wait to see how they sound. I already have a 20-39CS so having all 3 subs working should be awesome Bye, ------------------ ...wake up to find out that you are the eyes of the world... HornEd
Craig6519, likewise on the glad your still around thing! I thought of you when I posted the results of T-man's challenge on the Home Theater section (Hey HornEd, need Phantom feedback... ) and would appreciate your comments (and maybe some Craig experimentation) on the subject. I think we are all caught up in a audio revolution that is beyond what we have been told to believe. T-man's challenge/request gave me the opportunity to begin thinking about how great our Klipsch future can be when manufacturers really come to terms with discrete full range sound... uncompromised by retrograde tweaking for obsolete technologies(Did I hear ProLogic?). Now that you have a Samson Rock let us know how the CS+'s Roll.
