  1. Justin, that's a nice looking amplifier. Have you thought about having one available as a roadshow unit? I am sure there are many that are interested. Single ended tetrodes and pentodes sound very nice. I have been preferring them to SE triodes as of late.
  2. Several people have said good things about the Eminence Kappalite 3012lf. If you wanted to go that way drop me an email or PM. I bought 4 of those for a project that never came to fruition. They are NIB and I could give a pretty good deal on them.
  3. I have a SE EL-84 amplifier made by Dennis Had the founder of Cary Audio I can part with. Also, I am in the Denver area.
  4. How did they sound? It looks like a KPT-942 in a single box.
  5. i don't think that is a TSCM top, looks more like a LaScala split top on a klipschorn bass bin.
  6. I would be exhaustive for EV to build a FIR library for any possible permutation. Simply use the Remez Exchange Algorithm to find the coefficients, but be warned... chose your average weighting factor carefully for a relevant exponential average. the benefits of the FIR device should make any trouble getting the settings worth while. This may be helpful. http://www.mathworks.com/help/toolbox/signal/ref/fircls1.html
  7. They still do the custom veneers, just email Amy and she will get you a quote.
  8. The high frequency driver would fit, but the crossover would need to be reworked. Combine them with a good sun and they are tough to beat for the footprint they occupy.
  9. They are authentic, klipsch has misprints on several serial number labels. the maple looks very nice in person too.
  10. Don't see anything useful there. how about this: http://mediacdn.shopatron.com/media/mfg/3579/media_document/live_1/CinemaBrochure.pdf?1288243307 Look at the pages toward the back under system descriptions. the only difference between an 1132 and an 1133 is the distance from the phase plug to diaphragm the 1133 has a greater distance to support larger excursions in the midrange.
  11. Of course they don't Chris, but you can order them for an additional $125.00 each on a 402 while the 4002's are $2000.00 ea. and very difficult to get at the moment. i would buy TAD's today if anyone stocked them.
  12. Check your facts, don't want people to get bad advise, if people bought the 1133 for a two way jubilee, they would not be happy unless they could not hear past 10K. The K-1133 is indeed a mid driver and the 1132 a high frequency driver.
  13. The K-1133 is a mid driver, the K-1132 is a high frequency driver. I have found on my jubilees that the B&C D-75 driver which is used on many klipsch pro speakers bests the K-69 by quite bit. Also, there are active settings around to support the B&C driver with the 402 horn and jubilee bottom. There are no settings for the 510 when used with the B&C driver, but the 402 settings should be close enough to start with.
  14. The K-69 is not the problem, it will keep up, the K-70 will not. I believe there is wording on the crossover that points to this as well. For any home use, the k-69 with the 510 will hold up just fine crossed at 400 with the active settings. I would probably stay away from the crossover point with a passive.
