  1. Thanks! It is on the way to Klipsch for $120.00 flat rate if anyone else wants to know.
  2. Can anyone suggest where to have amp repairs done. I have something on the pc board burnt. Can post pictures if needed. Thanks.
  3. I recently aquired a pair of 89 Lascals with type AL crossovers. Are these up to date? What is best? Any help or suggestions would be great.
  4. I have two Cornwalls in a 11x13 room. Room will soon be 13x22. Sounds good but sounded better in a different house in a 16x24 room. IMO.
  5. check your reciever settings for "DTS" and make sure your speaker settings are correct. You can set up different speaker settings for each mode.
  6. I run mine with 140wpc and have had no problems up to 117db. Corn's will handle more than your ears. Happy crankin'...
  7. FRZN,please let me know if you're selling your Corn's, as I live in N.H. You can email me at dmethe3@hotmail.com. Thanks, Dave
  8. I have had Yamaha recievers in the past, the last being a RX1130. Just to let you know, it caught fire TWICE! I then went to a Denon AVR5700 and that was night and day for the better! Also, at the time, I was running 4 Heresys, 2 were Heresy II's. I think the Denon has A lot cleaner power IMO. I don't think the problem is the Heresy/Denon combo. Dave
  9. I agree with Freezin'. I have a Denon 5700 and have all my speakers set to large. DO NOT listen to music in anything but STEREO.Read your manual and adjust....and then enjoy!
  10. You guys are awesome! It is so much fun to read about what you agree and disagree on! ALSO, as for the Corn mods, are different years in need of different stuff??
  11. Assman, I have an SW-15 SUB that needs amp work, otherwise o.k. Will sell for cheap money.Have original box and can ship.
  12. I'd go with the pb2+ if you have the room! Louder is better!
  13. Freezin' Would love to hear your system sometime.Live in NH.Where in VT? Dave
  14. I have Cornwalls and Heresy's with a SVS 25-31PC+ and they sound great! Had A SW-15 and it would not keep up with the Corn's.
  15. Set your phase to "0" and your cutoff around 50htz.Start there as this is where your Lascala's stop.
  16. Jay, I just recieved my new 25-31pc+ after going rounds with Tom from SVS. I too, had the same dilemma for music. I listen to mostly music at high levels (100-110db) and was concerned like you. Well, I can you to save your money on the Ultra unless that's what you want. The pc+ will blow you away. And, it digs down low to house rattleing bass for movies.I have it set at 25htz with no plugs and can't imagine wanting more bass.I use it with a pair of Cornwalls for mains and Heresy's for surrounds, with a KLFC7 center. You will not be dissapointed either way you go.
  17. I don't know about db but how 'bout a Denon AVR-5700 put to a pair of Cornwalls, a pair of Chorus II's, and a pair of Hereseys with a SW-15 sub at +3?????
  18. I HAVE C7 WITH CORNWALLS AND HERESYS AND THEY SOUND GREAT TOGETHER!
  19. I have 85 Cornwalls with a KLF-C7 and 2 pairs of Heresys. I had a RC3 before the C7. I think that the C7 more closely matches the Cornwalls and Heresys. The RC3 was too bright. Hope this helps.
