  1. I have two RC-7s, one I use with RF-7s, and one I use with RF-35s. I used an RC-3 with the RF-35s for about a month and wasn't too impressed. I tried my RC-7 that I had with them and it sounded great, so I bought another one for the bedroom setup. Calibrate it right and it will blend perfect with the RF-35s.
  2. Michael Schenker: Adventures Of The Imagination. I just answered the same question on another thread.
  3. Michael Schenker: Adventures Of The Imagination, excellent all instumental.
  4. I used to have a 35in. Zenith T.V. that was really susceptible to magnetic problems. I couldn't use my Fortes in the same room with that T.V. it was so bad. Even when I got my RF7s it still would get the purple color on the left side. The RC7 on top didn't bother it at all. I switched the RF7s around and it was still only bad on the left side, so I knew it wasn't the speaker. I finally just took the magnet off of one of my wifes refrigerator magnets and taped it to the left side of the T.V. by the purple spot and it went away. Seeing how your T.v. is only a month old I would see about replacing it.
  5. I run both the PB12-Plus/2 and the PC-Ultra in my main setup and I have to pretty much agree with CECAA850. I would be happy with either sub, but if I had to choose just one it would be the PB12-Plus/2. Luckily I don't have to choose because after they are both dialed in they sound great together.
  6. No but when I filled up my truck today I felt like I was being porked. Does that count?
  7. edit: double post, my finger stuttered
  8. I really like the series, but I havn't read the last 2 yet. I wait till they come out in soft back. I think it would be a great mini-series on a network like HBO.

The movies are shown in the Original Aspect Ratio, and the quality is excellent. I watched Battle of the Bulge a few days ago and I couldn't believe how good a 40 year old movie looked.
  10. Some DVDs at 480p are outstanding, like Monsters Inc. Ice Age, and Superbit Fifth Element, to name a few. But they still don't compare with a good HD broadcast. After seeing Bikini Destinations in HD there's no turning back.
  11. Looks like something that should have been on Jackass: The Movie.
  12. Todays Audio is a local dealer. No website.
  13. If anyone gets up around the Flint, Mi. area Todays Audio has a pair of 74 Belles and I believe they are 86 KHorns on consignment. They are both in beautiful condition, definitely drool worthy. Finish looks to be the same as my Fortes, walnut oiled. They also have new Heresys on display.
  14. David Gilmour Live is an excellent DVD. My wife and I just got done watching Sheryl Crow C'mon America 2003 concert on HDNet, it was really pretty good. It doesn't hurt that she's so easy on the eyes either. My wife wants me to pick up the DVD of the concert now.
  15. I don't mind DST since I retired, but when I was working I hated it. Getting up at 3:30am meant I had to go to bed at 8:30pm or so. It really sucked going to bed while it was still light out.

    The Forgotten

Yeah, it was a better movie than I thought it would be. Definitely worth a rent for me.
  17. Trying a Y cable might work for you. I run the same subs as CECAA850 has in his signature. My PB2+ kicks in with just the slightest bass signal, but my PC-Ultra calibrated at the same level wouldn't kick in at lower volumes. I put a Y on, recalibrated it to match the PB2+, and it works great now. An older sub I have, a Velo CHT-15 states in the manual to try a Y if it won't kick in at lower volume levels. It won't hurt to give it a try.
  18. Watched it tonight with my wife and son, excellent movie, great video quality, real good sound. But I can't say that I was blown away by the audio. Maybe I have too many bass heavy DVDs because I didn't think the bass was anything out of the ordinary on this one.

    Sin City

I saw the trailer Months ago. Can't Wait!!! ---------------- I've never really followed comic books since probably in the mid 60s, but I'm looking forward to seeing the movie, it looks pretty cool. Plus Jessica Alba plays a stripper in it, definite bonus.

I tried to watch it but it was too much of a chick flick for me. Streets of Fire was pretty cool. ----------------

    Sin City

Has anyone seen the trailer for Sin City yet? I just saw it on TV and thought it was a new video game at first. Bruce Willis is in it, it definitely looks like a wild one. I think it opens in April.
  22. I believe it was A Star Is Born, not Rock Star. Jennifer Aniston looked hot in Rock Star.
  23. I've had my 3910 for 4 or 5 months and really like it. I run HDMI from 3910 to Toshiba 52HMX94 DLP TV upconverted to 720p. I've had the TV for about 6 weeks so I've been going through my DVD collection rewatching everthing. Picture quality is outstanding. Hi Rez music sounds great, I just wish there was more that I like to choose from. I was pleasently surprised how good CDs sound using analog outputs from the 3910. Denon has really been on top of things with this machine, since I've had it they have sent me 2 firmware upgrade CDs to fix bugs that users have found. Neither bug effected my player the way I use it but I downloaded them anyway just to stay current. I'm glad I bought it before Denon did the 200 dollar price increase plus my dealer always gives me at least 20% off everything, so it was definately worth it and I would do it again.
  24. Woodstock Almost Famous: Untitled version The Wall High Fidelity Spinal Tap
  25. Is your HK 7000 receiver an older model? If it's a newer model it should have some kind of auto detect mode for audio, or at the least have an analog button on your remote.
