I agree that it is way too much for the Heresy's but the Khorn's now that is a different story. If money was not a problem and it could be confirmed that they were all factory finished, then it would be up to the buyer to decide if it was reasonable or not. Just my opinion Bill

Has anyone ever seen Heresy's in rosewood? Can anyone find out how many have ever been produced in this rare wood.

Well it looks to me like the person that made the highest bid wants them real bad and was willing to spend that much. I would love to have a set but would not spend that much money myself right now. But there are people out there with a lot more money that spend it on more extravagant things than speakers. there is no need to get upset about it Bill -

On the weekends i will do some fast food and if we work the weekend we will have a pot luck dinner and the door is open for the good stuff. Today will be cold cuts with all the fixings, last week we had hot links and hot dogs with all the fixings, week before that was ribs that were so big i could only eat 2 of them and of course all the fixings. but toped it off with homemade peach and apple cobbler that still had the butter running running out of it. When drunk hold both hands out in front of you and point both index fingers up and both thumbs toward the center. One makes and L the other does not, that is how you tell your left from right when you are too drunk to know the difference. Bill -
FRZNINVT, OLDTIMER, CABLACKSMITH- Oiled Oak Academy
Doc Robin replied to the plummer's topic in Home Theater
There is a set of Oak Belle's listed on Audiogon right now $2500 or best offer. I was looking hard and e mailed the guy he said they he bought them from a family friend and they have been sitting unused for several years. I thought they were in Indiana but they are in Idaho just a little to far of a drive for me right now. You should drop Kevin a line and see what you can do. -

Welcome to the forum. May i suggest that you ask one of the fine people in the St Louis Area to come over and take a gander at your system. And then you can also go over and check out theirs along with your better half so that she can FEEL the difference. I have never heard an Academy but they have been selling for a very good chunk of change on e bay lately. And i agree that it sounds like something is out of adjustment and just needs to be fine tuned. But this may not give you what you are looking for and the only recourse is to buy more KLIPSCH. later Bill

How Old Were You When The Klipsch Horns Got Your Ear?
Doc Robin replied to JJJeffries's topic in General Klipsch Info
15 yrs old in 1975. 4 Black heresy's in a little shack out in the back yard, The room was painted Black, wood burning stove in the middle and a few easy chairs to relax in. Now what was that smell. Saw the guy a couple of months ago; 1st time in 15 yrs and yes he still has the Heresy's because i asked him if he did. The Legend Lives On. Bill -
Try plugging them into different power source's. I think it is the change in the load on the power strip. I may be wrong but it sounds like that is what it is. Bill

If all else fails: Read the manual on every piece of equipment in system. But most of the time they dont help. It's like they have built this great gear and the after thought is to print a manual that nobody can understand. Bill
