Does anyone ever listen to old trucker music? Songs like Give me forty acres, Who is the girl wearin nothin but a smile, freightliner fever, or diesel smoke. These are classic songs much like old country, with some tongue in cheek humor thrown in. Try Boxcar Willie sings Trucking songs.

Does anybody own and listen to reel to reel tapes anymore? A friend is getting rid of his reel to reel tape player, and about 100 recording, mostly classical and jazz. Any comments on the sound, I think the player is an Akai.

I didn't mean to imply that they were, but all three are very talented muscians in their own right. If you have never heard any of Bela Flecks albums I suggest you do, they're nothing like the hard bop jazz that most people here like, but they are great in there own way. I'm always open to new music and think more people should be that way. Just call me stupid

I have been getting into jazz lately also. What I really like is the Bela Fleck Jazz banjo stuff. If you like music played by very talented musicians give Bela a try. Off to the Stereo

I have the chance to buy two Mosaic sets. The first is the complete Blue Note recordings of Art Blakey's 1960 Jazz Messengers (#141) on CD and the Complete Blue Note recording of Thelonious Monk (#101) Has anybody heard any of the mosaic recordings? If so I would like peoples opinions.

I was looking for four industrial klispsch badges. They are metal ribbons about one inch wide and five inches long with the logo and klipsch painted in white. I bought some badges, but got the copper ones. If anyone is interested in trading or needs some badges drop me a line.
