  1. I would also consider Harman Kardon if that is possible.
  2. How is the sound in the original Toy Story DVD? Is the bass strong and deep?
  3. My RF-7s are also blessed by Mr. Sticker Boy by being rated at 150 watts.
  4. Congrats. We have the Canon PowerShot S45 and love it.
  5. The e-mail is on the SVS Web site.

Yeah, I saw it some time back in the theater. Good movie. Very twisty at the end.
  7. I just recently got DSL. I am now using a Linksys Home Phoneline Network card. The model name is HPN100. However, the problem is that now I cannot host any online games. People say that the game keeps trying to connect to me but never gets through. The thing is that I don't have any firewall, the only think that I changed is my ISP and went from an ISDN modem to a network card for DSL.
  8. Thanks. That's it. I'm sold on the Harman Kardon.
  9. The Platinum Series Extended Edition is being released on my BIRTHDAY! Yeah! November 18!
  10. m00n, The AVR 5550 is the European version of the AVR 525. There is no AVR 7200 here, only AVR 7500 and AVR 8500. Both are currently out of stock, so the only "best" one they have currently available is the AVR 5550. Harman Kardon AVR 5550.
  11. m00n, Right now I am leaning towards the Harman Kardon. I read a lot of stuff regarding Denon vs. Harman Kardon and asked people on other forums aswell. I guess Harman Kardon it is!

To me, the H/K is warmer (and more robust) sounding than the Denon with Klipschs, but that is my ear. There are a number of Denon owners on this site who are quite happy with the Denon/Klipsch combo, and I will say, Denon would have been a great second choice. (Anything to remove the earbleed of my Yamaha - again ears differ). There is a power difference between the two since the H/K is rated at 70 X 7 and the Denon is rated at 110 X 7 (and both manufacturers tend to realistically rate their amps). To me, the power difference does not matter much because even though I like to play music very, very loud and watch movies loud, the H/K has enough power to satisfy me. And the H/K will crank and crank for extended periods of time without a problem. Sure, it gets warm and the fan eventually turns on, but you cannot hear the fan if you are listening to music/HT at high volumes anyway. You get less overall headroom, but after all, we all have efficient Klipsch speakers. Thanks to everyone who gave me advice on this forum (and others) about the problem I had with my sub output. Per directions of H/K customer support, I set bass to LFE+L/R (don't ask, its a H/K 525 thing). I also split my signals again into both inputs on the subs and repositioned the SVS and HSU multiple times over until I had better overall response in the room. Situation solved! (Thanks also to the SVS gang, they are truly the best). My only other recommendation for you is to get a quality subwoofer (even an SVS 25-31 PCi or a HSU VTF-2 would do). Even with Reference 7s all around, you will notice a difference. Hope this helps. ------------------------------------------------------- H/K AVR 525 RF3II RC35 RS35 KLF-C7 SVS 20-39PCi HSU VTF-2 ---------------- Thanks! I am leaning towards the Harman Kardon right now. However, Denon seems to OVER-RATE their amplifiers while Harman Kardon UNDER-RATES them. Click here.
  13. I told you! I CANNOT audition these. So I must rely heavily on your comments/opinions. I can listen to them but not with Klipsch. Only with whatever they have in the store. But if they sound good in the store, that does not mean they will sound good with Klipsch!

The Sunfire Ultimate receiver bests any receiver made(the B&K is close)in sound quality,to my ears. The Sunfire power amps also represent a better value then the competition(I am not talking about the low cost BS here). The newest seven channel Signature amp can supply 400W into 8Ohms all channels driven! And doubles this into 4 Ohms there is not much competition, plus sound quality is up there too. ---------------- Comon man! And how much does that Sunfire A/V receiver cost??!!?? It was between the three I mentioned.
  15. I know. I got really pissed off that time and said things I shouldn't have said.
