I find that on my rsw12, in auto mode, the sub turns on when the volume is louder than a whisper and there has to have a bass note. Other than that if wont kick on automatically. Though I am curious about the Y- adapter creating better bass response?

hey bigger is better go with the rf-35, if price is not a problem. As far the a/v reciever, I cant tell you which one to go with since I have a yammy. Sure you'll be happy with the H/K model.

I love my yammy, some say its too bright. But no complaints from listeners yet!!!

Just curious? Anyone in this forum work at a BIG namebrand theatre? If so what kind of speakers are behind those big humungous screens? Before a show starts, when the lights are on you can see the surround speakers, I counted 8 speakers and upclose you can see the JBL symbol. Anyone have pictures to show what gear they have at these BIG showings? Thanks.

I saw it in person as well, thought it kicked a** live, but the dvd is OK. Its not going to go on my TOP 10 list is was just ok on dvd.

hey pm avman, ask hime about this reciever, he loves it but only after he upgraded the software version. IMO awesome reciever still by todays standard.

I too was in the situation like you find yourself in now. I was sold on the Sony ES line of recievers, but listened to the hi-end Yammys pushing the RFs and loved it. I have not regreted to this day, Yammy recievers kick a**. Go for it!!!

sounds like you got a great deal, keep the center for later upgrades. But for now it may have mismatch timbre, how does it sound to you if you like it than who cares!

Yep it was gore but I don't look at in a negative way, I look at it as the pain and suffering Jesus went through for US. Welcome to the forum!!! I think you would be fine since KLIPSCH are very efficient. Just as long as the reciever isn't stored in a small confined space, they need to breath.
