  1. Chaz, absolutely. I will be enquiring about the armboard situation with a local dealer. They can often be slow to respond. Especially if they sense it will not bring them any $. I'll keep you guys posted. Thanks!
  2. Yes, I am interested in your Basis 2001 and the Basis reflex clamp. I've decided on a Vector tonearm w/Transfiguration Temper cartridge to go with it however. So, would you be interested in separating them, and just selling the table and clamp alone? Please give me the complete package price as well if you wouldn't mind. Thanks!
  3. Joe, I am glad to hear you found something. I decided to keep my Basis 1400and RB300 until I find a reasonable deal on a Basis 2001 or 2500 and Vector 3. As you know, I'd be hard pressed to find anything comparable to my 1400 for a grand or less.
  4. Stellar work there Allan. Congratulations Gary.
  5. Joe, I'd like to toss the idea around for the rest of the weekend. I hadn't given much thought to selling it recently until I saw your thread.
  6. If I did sell it, $900 plus shipping. I have all the original Basis boxes + manual. It's in perfect condition.
  7. I am considering selling my Basis 1400 and RB300 (without cart) to upgrade to a Basis 2001/2500/2800 w/Vector 3 and Transfiguration Temper.
  8. I think Gary is right around 3 weeks? I wonder if it continues to get a bit easier for him? Congrats to all who have quit, and good luck to those who are thinking of kicking the habit. Craig, your next man! []
  9. You guys think ole NOSValves is quitting while he's on vacation up in Canada?
  10. Congrats on day 17 G, that's awesome!! I am sorry to hear that you had a bad AM. I hope your day has gotten better?
  11. I have tried most of them. I like Trend Micro PC-Cillin best for my purposes.
  12. You're in the hot bed of horns and tube audio Surely you are joking?
  13. Gilbert, I seem to recall that Allan and his wife went to England for some R & R.
  14. I am glad to hear that it's getting a bit easier for you G. Give that some thought, and remember how far you've come already if you ever feel like picking up a butt. Not to mention how long you'd have to go through this agony all over again one day if you start and then quit again. I hope I'm not sounding condescending, and granted it's small consolation at this point, but I am sure you'll find that it will continue getting easier and easier as time goes by. I am not around too many smokers myself, so I don't really think about it much if at all anymore. About the only time I really do think about it is when I see or smell someone hammering a nail. As far as missing it goes, it's quite understandable that you'd miss it for since it's been part of your daily routine for such a long time.
  15. Are you still hanging in there Gary? Has it gotten any better for you?
  16. That's great news G! Thanks for checking in.
  17. I don't know about that. A video of Friday night could be somewhat interesting. [] I'd like to see video of the 2004 Comfort Inn mixer and also footage of the 2005 after hours in Craig's room. [Y] Anyone have any footage of Indy's finest knocking at the door over in Craig's room at the Holiday Inn? I think that was around 2AM at whcih time boomac, j-malotky, NosValves, gonzp and I adjourned to the lobby and continued talking until about 4 or 5 AM. That was fun! []
