Apparently, this is why shelter in place orders need to be mandated, with penalties for ignoring the orders.

Unbelievable. https://www.nwahomepage.com/news/louisiana-church-hosts-more-than-1800-people-amid-covid-19-outbreak/

Maybe Klipsch and Associates could manufacture masks, using materials on hand. Just thinking outside the box. https://photos.app.goo.gl/VJX2w3reztjQ837Y6

Both of my sons begin on-line college courses from home today. These are interactive classes. I've been working from home for a week with frequent WebEx meetings. So we will be simultaneously in up to three on-line meetings at any given time. I hope we have the internet bandwidth. Our internet provider has throttled our internet speed in the past few days (according to speed tests my sons have been doing). This will be interesting.

I didn't use an air rifle, but I did put two deer in the freezer this past deer season. We'll be good on protein for a while, as long as the power grid doesn't go down.

I sent him with disposable nitrile gloves to wear (I have small stash in the garage that I keep for handling insecticides and herbicides). The store is supposed to provide hand sanitizer to employees.
-
Our supply of hand sanitizer will be used for disinfecting cell phones and key fobs, etc. when returning home (things that cannot be washed with soap and water). Also, everyone has a small squeeze bottle to carry in their cars.

My son went to work is morning at Albertson's supermarket as a cashier. He worked there in HS, but hasn't worked as a checker for several years. With college classes suspended for now, the store manager called and asked him to help due to the critical shortage of store workers, especially cashiers. Probably a high risk job right now, considering the high number of people supermarket cashiers encounter. Somebody has to keep things running to keep essentials available. My wife is a hospital director and has been working long hours planning for the inevitable surge in patients. She goes in at 3:30 am to screen employees arriving to work, checking temperatures, etc. I feel like a slug just working from home (mandatory per my employer). We have set up a protocol for family members returning to home from being out. Clothes come of in the garage and go directly to the washing machine. Next stop is the sink in the laundry room to wash hands before entering the house. Maybe we are being overly careful, but that's better than dragging germs in the house.

My wife and 2 sons and I went to NYC for Spring break. When we left on March 10, there were no reported cases of the Wuhan virus in Manhattan (we stayed at a hotel in the Times Square area). Today, there are 976 cases in Manhattan. None of us are sick.

I'm surprised I didn't turn into a pot pie. Consumed so many in college.

Maybe, if there is any left when we get through this.

I found sanitizer at the store today. Limit 2. https://photos.app.goo.gl/w9cXYWgPryXqdRB97

Working from home since Monday. My employer has made this mandatory for all employees not required to be on site for manufacturing or servicing our products.

The next couple of months are gonna be really boring now. No sports, and now no SWAG. See ya'll in September. -
Roger, I will not be going to Rodney's in 2020. Looking forward to 2021.

Well, that's a bummer.

If someone has some favorite concert DVD's or BluRay's, bring 'em. I have a small collection that includes Rush, Dream Theater, Ozzy, Pink Floyd, SRV, etc. I'll pick through them and bring a few to have on hand. -

The Oppo plays both. Yes, I'll bring the necessary HDMI and audio cables. I have 6' and 12' HDMI cables to give us some flexibility in setting up a monitor. I'll bring a 25'-15A extension cord and a power strip too, just in case. -

I'll bring around 500 CDs ripped to FLAC files, that's about what will fit on on a 256 GB thumb drive. Fairly eclectic mix of stuff. To reduce dead time between music changes, I will bring an audio switcher that switches between 10 input sources. I'll bring an Oppo CD/SACD/DVD/BluRay player and a 5-disc Sony CD/SACD player, as well as my Raspberry Pi DAC set up. I can set up a Bluetooth receiver on one of the inputs in case someone wants to pair to a phone or whatever. I can bring a 42" LCD TV/HDMI monitor, in case someone has a concert DVD or BluRay they would like to play (If anyone thinks this is a good idea let me know and I will bring it). -
Although I did not post in the FREE JIMJIMBO thread, I thought it was lighthearted and really humorous. I was surprised when it was suddenly taken down.

I was just wondering that too, and do you know if the venue has a coffee maker?
