LOL I typed "iiiiiittttsssss hhhhheeeeeerrrrrrreeeee!!!!!!!!!!" geeesh Mark I thought you'd have picked up on that! []
I am moving photos, video and music onto it for now that should keep me busy for a bit. 11 seconds to boot 3 seconds to shut down. Moving the video is going to be a slow process mainly becasue of the volume of data involved and it will be stored on an external drive so it will be a USB - USB transfer from my camcorder via the MacBook to the ext drive.
Sorry to hear that.
We use Macs at work and I don't like them. I'm a PC guy until I die.
Been using PC's since the 80's we use em at work, tired of the endless pushes, updates and bolt on crap you need with a PC. I've built and rebuilt more PC's than I can count. I got started into Mac's using my wife's little macbook she uses as a teacher. I used to be endlessly annoyed by Mac evangelists, but the bottom line is they work. IMO a Mac has far greater attention to detail than any PC. But hey it is all about preferences. If you like your PC........
I read "25 yr old Macallan - Ga klipsch gathering" and started to run for the airport until I saw "tasting notes". That must truly have been exquisite. Aside from the Klipschfest and scotch, what cigar did ya pair it with?
That has not happened to me in a while. LOL I still remember my worst fishing loss. I was about 16, fishing on the bank of the North Branch of the Susquehanna River when I had to pee. Had not had any bites all day so I went to relieve myself only to turn to see my fishing pole skimming across the top of the river. Brand new Garcia Spinning rod and Daiwa spinning reel.
Short answer is they are OK as indicated before the TV section is OK, they sell iPods, CD/DVD/BR, video game stuff, cell phones and some appliances, Camera/Camcorders but most everything audio is bottom end stuff.
