  1. Sputnik,... Thanks for the link. I read through most of it. haven't tried to post yet, but it still seems a bit complicated. I have posted pictures straght from my hard drive, and olso from a host before, but this seems to be a little more involved. As my teenage son tells me sometimes when I ask him why some computer related, or programing instructions aren't very clear, he tells me,.." You just have to know these things " I will give it another try soon,...Thanks again,...>>>--->
  2. It seems so simple. All seems fine, until I actually look at the post,..No images. I looked for a guide, but can't seem to find it. Must be looking in the wrong place,... Help please,... Thank you,...>>>--->
  3. Alright,..I did a search, and came up empty. Can somebody clue me in, or is there times when the system doesn't work as it should? It sure seems simple enough, but when I preview the post,...No images. Thanks guys,....>>>--->
  4. Hey guys,.. Thanks for the input. I will head over tot he general forum, and see whats going on there. If that is where things are commonly listed now, I will use it. If not,..Imay end up back here. Carl,...Hows things down south there? I was going to reply to you in another thread, but didn't want to slip a personal note into somebody elses thread,... I was down in your area a few weeks ago for work, I wish I had visted the forum sooner, I may have been able to look you up while I was down there,....Hows the cables? Hanging in there? I haven't had much time with my system for months now, and it's beginning to get to me. Still have a long way to go,..but I have been building a little cat 5 related stuff if anybody is interested. Both speaker cables, and interconnects. If I can figure out how to post pictures, I will post some. That's actually why I asked about listing gear for sale. Fastlane,..I was just thinking of listing a couple cable items I have for sale right now,... Cat 5 braided speaker cables,..Finished with bananas, and spades. All set to go. A set of Cat 5 twisted pair interconnects with canare RCAP connectors. Also, as always, Belden, or Canare based interconnects,... Carl has a set, I think he was pretty pleased with. Thanks guys,...Look forward to checking back on a more regular basis again. GRCRY,...>>>--->
  5. This would be the Cat 5 interconnect. It's bare right here to give you a good view of what's going on with the cable. An outer covering will be applied to dress it up. GRCRY,...>>>---> Well,..I guess I did the photo wrong,...I will try again,... >>>--->
  6. Sorry about the double post guys. I had a slip of the fingers,... >>>--->
  7. Good one,... What in the world was that poster thinking? It's true the speakers are very eficient, but it doesn't mean they don't like "Head room". One of the worst things you can do to a driver, is starve it. I run a conservative 200 watts per channel on a full room of FR-7's and surrounds. Decent related gear,..and it sounds great. Put together quality components ahead of the Klipsch, and they will sing, loud amd clear. >>>--->
  8. Pythagore,.. Hello,...I have had a full room of RF-7's for a couple years now, and have been extremely pleased with the Sherbourn 7/2100A driving them. You will find, like most new drivers, there will come a day, when all of a sudden, the system sounds different. Better, much better, than when you took those big boys out of the carton. Quality gear, carefull selection of cables, and you will be very happy. Enjoy,...>>>--->
  9. Guys,.. Talk to Griff,..He is the man on Sherbourn. >>>--->
  10. JackH,.. Dig a little deeper in the set up menu's and you will find you can run the 7's large, small, or if you set them to large, you can then in the subwoofer menu, set the sub to, sub + main, so the mains will get low end frequencies too,...cross them over at 80, and you should be set either way,..all depends on what sounds best to you. >>>--->
  11. Steven,.. Exactly my feelings about dealers. This seems to show up more in automtive sales, and I have never understood agresive car sales. being the purchase is so large, it can be a life altering event,...Why would a sales person, all but force a sale down somebodies throught,...It will be the last sale thay make to that person, or anybody else they know,.... I'm not a timmid person, and I love looking people like that in the eye, and making their life a little more difficult, even knowing it doesn't have but tiny effect on their life, or business. It's not something I go looking for however. ... Should know very soon how this will go, but in the mean time,.... >>>--->
  12. Doug,.. Good question,...I'm in the middle of that right now. In order to keep that relationship strong in the future, I would try not to trouble him with this. Actually, I hope we can work something out, but in the mean time, I thought I would see if there may be somebody interested,... >>>--->

    BruinsFan,.. If in fact the speaker is going to be discontinued, and you need one real bad, there are a few places not authorized that sell them. There use to be a seller on Ebay that had them all the time. Not sure if they are still around or not. They sold Klipsch gear for a long time. have you checked directly with Klipsch on this? >>>--->
  17. Hello all,.. Been doing a lot of reading on pre/amps lately, and thougth I would see if anybody here has had any experience with the Fosgate products. I have read quite few pieces about the FAP T1, and a little about the new unit coming out soon which is going to be the FAP T1+, an upgraded unit with all the new bells and whistles,.... Being the KLipsch speakers tell few lies, and what I have read about the Fosgate being a quiet performer with a S/N ratio of 108, I thought there has to be some Klipsch users running these processors. Any expeiences would be greatly appreciated,.... Thanks GRCRY,...>>>--->
  18. Just thought I would check. There is a lot of talk about it and the new Rotel RSP-1068 on a couple other forums. They seem to be two very hot items right now. Anybody here been down the path with the Sherwood yet. I know a few have the Rotel, and really like it. Suposedly the P-965 is running neck and neck right next to it. Everybodies system is different, but I 'm very curious as to how it mates with the Klipsch products. Thanks for you thoughts,....GRCRY,...>>>--->
  19. HA!,..Look, at, those! >>>--->
  20. WOW! Look at that! Beautiful! >>>--->
  21. Thanks guys,..I have taken into consideration all the normal marketing factors,..but had hope, being I live in the midst of smaller comunities, where there isn't a huge market for the mid to high end products, the dealers would be a little more willing to gain a new customer rather than send him out the door with no chance or returning. I am off to another dealer, I didn't know was within driving distance today. Hope the experience is better. It is more of a showroom setting, than the first dealer, that does almost all custom work. I might add as a side note,..The dealer that gave me such a hard time about trying to but below MSRP, was the one that both the owner, and his salesman, ripped on me hard, for having Klipsch,.....Well,....Better luck today hopefully,....
