    GO GIANTS!

^^^^^ Yes I did. Qualifies as a complete collapse?
  2. As soon as fall hits the big box stores roll out their holiday crap. It's money makin' time boys and girls.

    GO GIANTS!

What an absolute collapse from the Giants pen. I thought Bochi should have warmed up Bum to put the fire out, like he did against my Royals. The Giants must be sick --- and should be. That's not even choking, just terrible pitching at the worst possible time.
  4. Its the one's that won't admit it that you have to keep eyes open for. I'm watching you -----
  5. No Sir - but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, does that count?
  6. But ya got to admit -------- she's got a nice asss -- for a heifer, just sayin'
  7. No doubt that clown is an expert with explosives. My money is on the fish, any and all fish in his vicinity. He would be not so gently tossed out on his asss. Or we might just watch him blow himself up, just for fun of course. Although I doubt we would waste any fire extinguishers on his dumb asss.
  8. There really is no back story. Lets name him Jim, and Jim and his friends are pyro technicians from way back, do their own professional shows and help one the Midwests bigger names in the business with theirs. Owns a rather large farm outside the city and obtains the proper permits for this once a year private show. Until a few years ago this was always done on or around the 4th but setting this all up in the July heat, preparing the land around and worrying about parched July ground become too much so it was moved to a fall date. What was once a show for a large family and close friends has nearly 1000 people showing up now, all through word of mouth and is slowly becoming out of control. The county Sheriff actually showed up this year with complaints from neighbors and only shook his head and left after seeing all the proper paperwork signed by authorities. I'll try to load a phone video from the firing line, its damn intense for the half hour show and when the finale fires, all staged electronically on a berm damn, I'll tell you, it's incredibly spectacular and loud beyond description. Lets just say this - this ain't your typical country club fireworks show.
  9. Yeah -- that's how I would have done it! Amazing work
  10. Pics to follow shortly from a very kind and willing Forum member. Please follow up on this a bit later - I think you'll get a "blast" and an idea of what followed. Stay tuned ---

  13. So CEC do the HCats actually use a keyed ignition or two different fobs for the push button?

    GO GIANTS!

As I watched Bum last night he gives the impression he can stand on the mound and do what he does all night long. Never any sign of stress, the same fluid motion every time. After what he did to my Royals in '14 I thought I'd go against him but no I was pulling for the Giants. I actually enjoyed watching the Mets going down at home again just as they did against the Royals.
  15. Same thought process but different car - Dodge Challenger with SRT 6.4 Hemi. And like the Camero poor rear view visibility even with a rear view camera. Drove BMW's for at least 20 years and decided on some American HP. Damnn things an animal.
  16. ^^^^^ I can relate and hear you 'Heel. I'm just a few years younger, retired and decided whether I needed it or not ( of course I didn't Need it) wanted and bought a car with just shy of 500hp. Some expert tuning put it over 500 and yeah, it's fun as shitt. Good on you, go get it!!
  17. I'd check what general maintainence costs will be. I know dealer maintainence on 911's are crazy high. Possibly find good service at a private Porsche garage, much like MKP who specializes in Hondas. On the other hand if one can afford a Porsche maintainence costs may not be an issue. That is one damn good looking machine.
  18. ^^^^^ No, but I'll have a look to see what I can do.
  19. ^^^^^ Thanks WVU - yeah I think $375 is fair for Quartets but had no takers when I offered them going to Hope. And like said in the ad someone can have a near turn key rig, less a source, for a real good price. And the amp makes the Quartets sound huge. A nice little rig for the discerning Klipsch tube-o-phile.
  20. As great as they sound together I just have too many amps with additional monoblocks arriving yet this week, so these need a new home. Custom built by Bill Baker from Response Audio these are a superb sounding 6 watt EL84 single ended amp/preamp combo, in beautiful Baltic Birch. $1400/offer (amp+preamp) Sold as the pair power amp / - 2x - new 7189 output tubes from the Tube Store "Preferred Series". Killer tubes. - 6 watt choke filtered power supply based on a 5U4 rectifier tube - Mundorf teflon bypass caps - cryo silver plated copper wiring power and pre amp - twin analogue meters for tube ouput pre-amp / - Class A 12au7 line stage - V-cap oil output caps; V-cap teflon bypass - Gold Point stepped attenuator Obviously these pieces go together like peanut butter and jelly. Very smooth, detailed and remarkably powerful for 6 watts. These have run my ZU Essence (sold), Quartets, RB75, KP450/EV (Frankenstein) and Khorns. Actually a bigger sound stage and close in detail to my Wright 2a3's and may actually be smoother. I will also sell a pair of Oak Quartets ($375) as a package deal for someone in the KC area that can pick up the entire kit. Package price can be discussed. I can email all the pics you need via email. Thanks in advance Rich
  21. ^^^^^ McIntosh's own Roger Russel would agree with this so how could you go wrong with a 230? Myself, make sure they are long enough to reach both the Mc and the KG. And keep it off the floor or you may as well toss it all out the window ----?
  22. BSM - did you stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night? The man has hidden skills --

    Debate tonight

The Youngbloods signing "The Two Weasel Anthem" --
  24. So one of my grandsons is spending the night and we are downstairs playing among the Klipsch speakers that tower over the little 2 1/2 year old. He looks up and points at the giant orange EAW horn atop the KP450, looks at me and says "that's a horn Grandpa". Yes it is Karter, yes it is. Bringing him up right! Gawd I love the little guy ---
