  1. Based on your avatar JB I would have to guess you are a nazi living in Hong Kong. I know: based on my avatar I'm the Easter Bunny.
  2. You are lucky Michael, without cable or satellite we get next to nothing.
  3. She's Come Undone--various groups "I'm getting tired of waiting and fooling around I'll find somebody, who won't make me feel like a clown This can't go on..."
  4. Good dentists can be hard to find. Many are in it for the "business." In other words they are more concerned with making money than the care of patients. We quit a guy right in town, he was real convenient, but noticed after a short time how serious he was(nt). Now we drive 50+ minutes to the other side of the metroplex to my cousin, whose dad used to be my dentist when I was a kid (and was also my godfather). He does volunteer work for the infirmed at nursing homes. This gives you a clue about what kind of person you are dealing with. Look for someone more concerned with the practice of dental medicine than with being on the golf course by 3. Quit this guy Michael and find a good one. Ask lots of questions, get referrals from people with similar work done and ask them lots of questions. You know what to ask since you have experienced this yourself. You might also file a complaint with the state board.
  5. Sorry OB. Why don't you post some in that thread in general questions. Amy kind of tried to stop gratuitous chick pic posting over here. Seriously though, my forte II pic didn't turn you on? lol I knew I should have removed the grill...
  6. Last night was another case of a one dimensional show with few if any of their famous references to past entertainment. Too much time spent on the movie and ignoring the series perhaps? Wednesday a new episode of South Park will be shown, should be a marked difference in topicality, relevance, and satirical humor.
  7. "Homicidal religious fundamentalism is neither religious nor fundamental." Are you sure? Isn't it fundamentally homicidal?
  8. You're right. To show my restraint here's only one of my channels.
  9. Glad to hear about the 911, nice move. Of course I'm right there with you! Regarding the conversation and their mothers etc. I think I better keep quiet for now..... Edit: So that's the 3.4 with the 215hp........
  10. yes Amy but haven't you figured out that every thread we dogs touch devolves into hot babe talk? Seriously, this started innocently enough between which hot babe with magical powers was preferable.
  11. Jeannie would have given me an ss just like that if i asked.....
  12. jeannie without a doubt who could stand endora as a mother in law?
  13. June Lockhart---Lassie's mother? But Judy was worth stowing away for! Penny just pissed me off.
  14. Next time tell them to just give'em a beer and wave goodbye.
  15. I agree Colter, that's what I call tall cotton! BTW, wasn't Anfarht where that mag-lev train wreck was or near a couple of weeks ago?
  16. How batman ever resisted joining up with Julie Newmar's catwoman is truly a morality miracle.
  17. Interesting enough. Somehow I think my Forte II's sound best with acoustic music, especially horns such as trumpets and saxophones. So an acoustic horn is not fired from a horn like pattern? Wow, I guess the shapes of horns are so deceiving! As for 360 degrees, somehow acoustic music sounds different when I am in the percussion section of an orchestra than when I am in front, say, in the audience, even in the outdoors where there is far less of the shell effect than in an auditorium. Not that I disagree with what you are basically saying, with exception noted above.
  18. "This show made me really want to be an astronaut. As an adolescent, it was mid-boggling that Major Tony Nelson could not come up with any "creative" ideas when Jeannie asked, "Oh Master, what can I do for you?" (fini) This show made me want Jeannie. I still dream of Jeannie. I even whistle the theme song around the house (I whistle a lot). My wife still won't call me master though. Maybe it's all for the best.... p.s. Fini, hagman probably would have looked better in a camisole anyway....
  19. Needs more dilithium crystals! (sorry) You would have to take the case off and see if anything is obviously wrong. To have someone fix it is probably not worth the cost so that's why people say use the money for a new one.
  20. And i thought it meant they thought you were a knight all this time....
  21. You hit the nail on the head OB. Of course you never know if one might need a ride in your vette sometime....... I am lucky to live in a TWO college town. All I have to do is go out for some live local music and/or beer and/or coffee and there they are. When my nephew was looking for a school to go to several years ago we showed him around town here. He later asked me "is this place always just crawling with babes?" Yep. I feel your pain if there is no college nearby.
  22. Reality is harsh. Many speaker makers try to alter that. Klipsch do a better job than most (maybe than any other for the money) to bring you what was actually recorded. That's when you realize it is the recording or other input that sucks, it's not your speakers. Not that they are perfect, but put on a well recorded live performance and hear which one makes you feel as if you are "there."
  23. I'll vote for Kinky but I'll keep my money in lieu of Buffet.
  24. While it is pricey, I would still love to see Brubeck and Lewis, what a contrast! I would go see Diddley for fun and old times sake. I would not want to miss Clarke and Duke, They are both monsters. Clarke can do things on a classical bass I never thought possible. If I had to pick only one it would have to be Clarke/Duke. If my schedule is free I might go anyway.
