Ok, Now read the msds sheet, you have proved why not to use BLO. If you ever use tounge oil, you would find out that it takes 2-3 coats over virgin wood before there is enough mil to steel wool before your final gloss coat.

Dont mess with BLO, it is simply out dated, smelly, slow drying, garbage that will stain if you set anything on your speakers. If you want a product to wipe on wipe off then look into tounge oil from minwax or old masters, apply 3-4 coats with a 0000 steel wool sanding before the last coat.

Sikkens CETOL Products, or use a oil-base penetrating stain,3 coats poly sanding sealer with 2 coats satin polyurathane.Definetly find a sample peice of wood to have a stain match. Go to a paint store ,Sherwin Williams or Ben Moore,and ask the guy at the counter.

Well our island is destroyed! you will not belive the devistation. I went out and took 150 or so pictures. Is there anyone that can advise me on how to take my digital pictures to a site for you all to see? Most are taken in the 6 mega pixel range and are to large to load here. I can put them in a folder but thats about all I know how to do. Ill post one for you now to give you a taste of the destruction.
