  1. I took this picture of my bottle head 2a3s in the dark, thought I would share it with you guys.
  2. Play some Jimmy Hendrix Purple Haze, kick back and watch to see if the color changes from blue to purple.
  3. Best thread I have read in awhile. Nice work!
  4. Browse Sell Learn MyPage Help Home > Browse > Cable: Interconnects > Item: 1096207814 Check this audiogon listing
  5. I have a spare crossover and a new mid diaphram, if your interested PM me.
  6. That is what I have been doing. I was conserned with 30` of cable. Thanks. ROb
  7. I like them all!, I have a set, it has its place, I listen to it most, with its detail and low power, you can listen to it everyday and not get tired of it. I have a PP, listen to it seldom, doesnt have the detail at lower volumes, but sounds great. I have big power SS, dont listen to it much neither, unless I want to party or flat rock the neighborhood. I also own other speakers than Klipsch, they all have their place also. I enjoy rolling different amps with different speakers. If you cant be happy with one or another, then buy them all.On top of it all I orderd a set of VMPS STR/R speakers today. Rob
  8. What I have is a paradigm servo 15 with a built in amp, and the seperate paradigm x-30 crossover, the crossover has a LFE in, and also, main in with 3 different outputs for highpass levels, I want to run my mains full range so I have to use the LFE input, it has a L&R in, and sub out.I attached a picture of the rear of the crossover. Should I use the tape outs?
  9. Currently I am running my powered sub from my blueberry left tape out to my crossover then to the sub. I want to move my sub and will need a 30` patch cord. Can I run an rca Y adapter off both channels of the blueberry tape out to give me a mono sig? Or should I run a Y adapter of of the main out {L or R only} then to the crossover and amp? will I loose anything by running this long of cord? Will I loose signal to the amp? BASICALLY< HOW SHOULD I HOOK IT UP> thanks, Rob
  10. There is a guy on e-bay that has several sets of new un-opened herseys on e-bay, oak oil I think.
  11. Which won of the disclives did you try? Looks interesting, Im not crazy about the artists they have listed, unless I missed something.
  12. I use my paradigm servo 15 and x-30 crossover with my chorus2s and 2a3sets, it blends seemlessly and has way more power than I will ever use. I use it primarly for music playback. There is one on audiogon now.

Of course, you won't be able to put 100+ songs on one cd, unless your cd player can read mp3. ---------------- Would they be the same sound as the I-pod or other MP3 only players out there? or would my DAC improve the sound of them?
  14. MP3s NOT MP#S, not much of a typist here.I read that MP3s have more compression than CDs and Lps, and was wondering if the MP3 would be a better choice of media for my low powered bottlehead 2a3s. Since the music is more compressed wouldnt it require less amplifier power for the dynamic peaks of the music? Or does the MP3 effect soundstage and 3-D imaging? If mp3s are better, than what would be the best type of MP3 player to buy?
  15. "Most of the recordings of recent years are highly compressed, then compressed some more when ported over to MP3/AC3 for iPODs, et al" Is it possible that the MP3s would sound better through my 2a3 sets than regular lps or cds? I was thinking they may because of more compression, thus less dynamic peaks of the music not needing the extra watts. I havent tried any MP3s yet, anyone know?
  16. Congrats!!! I was given one here a couple of weeks ago. Klipsch forum members a great bunch of folks, I cant wait till the next klipschFest, Ill for sure be there.
  17. "So it's not very likely that there's anything significantly wrong with his system...not to the degree that I heard. So where does this boxy sound come from?" Thats the klipschorn sound. Im supprised that the went that low, arttos room must be great.
  18. Your preamp manual should have detailed information on speaker placement.

I did not notice any adverse affects from the BLO." ---------------- LOL, why dont klipsch use it now Huh? Wonder why, if linseed oil is great! Wonder why.....
  21. I checked out your link. Is it made of plastic? Or some type of carbon composit? It looks to be a moulded type unit.JBL:
  22. Watco is a good product, it is not linseed oil. My first set of k-horns, I put watco danish on, they came out nice.
  23. American Pie by Don McLean, dont know what it sounds like though.
  24. With your set up, you wont be able to tell a difference.
