  1. Man, those are some beautiful speakers. Are they oak? Rick.
  2. Yes it's free, and really easy to set up with just a user name and password. There are some options available that I've not had time to fool with, but I plan to check them out later. Does anyone have any suggestions on making this thing better? Rick.
  3. You'll only have to put your zip code. I don't see any reason to worry about that. Rick.
  4. All right! We've already got seven members on the map, reaching from coast-to-coast. We also have our first international member, MaxG, representing Athens, Greece. Rick.
  5. Yes, we should use our forum names. I had signed up for the other forum as "Lucky1", so that's why mine isn't under "Thumpelstiltskin". I'll either change it on the map, or change my name here. Rick.
  6. OK, we now have our own group map. Just click on the link below and enter your info so everyone will know where you are. You don't have to enter your exact address, just the zip code. http://www.frappr.com/klipschforum Rick.
  7. The Audiokarma website has a map showing the locations of their forum members. I thought it was pretty cool and wonder if it's possible to start one here. Here's a link to the Audiokarma frappr map: http://www.frappr.com/audiokarma Rick.
  8. Too bad you're not closer to Georgetown, Indiana. Here's a classified ad from there that first ran on 12/02. It sounds like a pretty good deal: "Klipsch, 5.2 towers, 12" woofer, 10" drivers, 4" tweeters, like new, Infinity Center $250 all. 812-923-0688 or 502-551-7539 Georgetown, IN." Rick.
  9. Jon, Since nobody has answered your question, I'll give it a shot. I believe the K-55Ms usually sell for $75 to $100 each on Ebay. K-400 horns probably go for about $125 each. K-77 tweeters often sell here for $100 to $120/pr. here, but someone's trying to get $199/pr. on Ebay right now. Bob Crites could probably give you a better idea of the selling price of the A/AA network, but I think they're somewhere around $250-$275 for a pair. Hope this helps, Rick.
  10. I wonder what kind of drugs they do over there? Rick.
  11. I agree with Michael...... keep the Cornwalls. The Belles are pretty, but I think the cornwalls sound better. Rick.
  12. I got a little chuckel out of that one, too. Rick.
  13. The speaker is still available. Fedex ground service to Charleston, SC would cost $26 and would take 2 business days. It should be about the same anywhere in the state, but I need your zip code to be sure. Thanks, Rick.
  14. Well......the shipping cost was too high for the forum member from California, so the KLF-C7 is still for sale. It's not been packed yet, but the shipping weight will be somewhere around 49 lbs., and the box will measure approximately 16" x 32" x 14". It will be shipped from the 45680 zip code. Anyone interested in the speaker can use that information to estimate the shipping cost. I do not charge any "handling" fees or for packing materials. If the actual shipping cost is less than the buyer pays, I'd be sure to refund any overage. Just let me know........... Thanks, Rick.
  15. How about the "Heritage Repertory Theater", like at the University of Va. Rick.
  16. I had thought of that, but I really need the money to help buy the projector. Have you heard any systems with a rear center? I've never heard one and do wonder if it's a major improvement. Rick.
  17. A forum member from California has said he wants the speaker, but the deal hasn't been sealed yet. He's at work now and should let me know something tonight. I'll let you know what he decides. Thanks, Rick.
  18. "and replace that futon, will ya? My back's still hurting! LOl" How weird is this? After saying I was getting a new projector, I told my wife "Colter will think I'm nuts for not buying a decent sofa first." LOL. You have to admit though.....it is the "Cadillac" of futons! LOL!!! Rick.
  19. Thanks for the kind words, guys. You're right Michael, a Cornwall will be replacing the C7 as soon as my projector gets set up.......5 Cornwalls, two big subs and a 72" TV screen!! Wooohoooo!!!! Rick.
  20. I'm selling a black KLF-C7 for $300. It's in excellent condition and comes in the original box. Thanks, Rick.
  21. I have a black KLF-C7 that will probably be for sale in the next day or two. The price will be $300 if I decide to sell. Would you be interested?
  22. Thanks. That helps a little, but I'm still wondering if "upscaling" or "upconverting" is something that the SP4805 does? Will it produce a "high definition" picture when connected to a HD cable service? Rick.
  23. I have a Denon 3802 hooked up to a McIntosh MC2205 amp driving my main speakers. I'd suggest you try your setup without bi-wiring, and just let the Rotel drive your RF-7s. It probably won't help the "buzz", though. Good luck, Rick.
