I think LebanonKlipschFan did a little exxageration between the differences. It is true that they are like comparing apples and oranges but its more like a Mustang (stock) vs a SVT mustang cobra, The differences are definately not close to 15 times!

DB rating does not have anything to do with timbre matching. Usually a good receiver or pre/pro will allow you to adjust the levels, so everything is matching sonically. Unfortunately we did lose 2 decibels with the 3 woofers...but as some have noted, the rf7's could never really do the 102 1watt/1meter that they proclaimed (but pretty darn close). I think it would be an awesome idea to move your 7's to the rear and line up the front with the rf-83s and rc64.

Let me be the one to say it, but the new speakers look sexy...like a woman with thin long lengs and a bikini...with a three breasts and a firebreathing mouth...im on fire, seriously, I think the new line looks extremely sexy (for lack of a better word). The old line was more macho, like a beefed up arnold (the rf7's)...it makes you feel muscular looking at them, the new line just gives me satisfaction, like a beautiful woman..

Well I, for one, say: Welcome the new and say goodbye to the old. Compared to the computer world...we only need to upgrade every 5-6 years (if we want)...computers need to be upgraded almost every year! yeah yeah I know how many of you have old computers (do you?)...but to stay on "top of it"

Agreed, look at a used HK 135, Denon 1803/1805 and look at getting a nice sub... small svs, the sub-12 from klipsch (great sub!) Always good to keep your goals in mind....last year I started with a set of promedia ultras...in college (still am) and my goal was to get the best possible...now look where I am at, more klipsch than I need but not more than I want...and probably (with certainity) I have one of the best systems on campus.

I went into a dealer today and listented to the definitive...I dont think it goes quite as low and it does deep, honestly...my svs pc ultra could do much better!

Both for the color, and the musicality. The extra 5hz on a slope mean almost nothing. I just picked up the rsw and am giving it some initial testing...wow, its impressive. I actually like it more than my pc ultra, more detailed thoughts to come.

As a younger man, If I saw my ex-girlfriend that I had gotten "busy with" with another man, of course I would think that! Especially if they were married... I would think: I had her first, I did the deed. But in that way I can be very jealous...and I can see exactly where moon is coming from. Seems to represent my feelings explicitly and I am sure a majority of men would agree to these reactions. By human-nature we are born prone to thinking ourselves superior to other people...even if we dont admit it (sub-consciously, in some way or other, we do). This situation enforces that superiority.

I actually just sold my PC-Ultra but remember it vividly...it always be remembered. Once I get the RSW, ill take some pictures and give my impressions in comparison to the PCU. Very excited...maple rf7's, and now a maple rsw

I will be picking up my maple, MAPLE! rsw 15 this saturday...sidegrading/upgrading/downgrading from my pc ultra...should be fun!

RSW-15 more for the aesthetics than anything...
