  1. More, you say? I'm a fleabit peanut monkey All my friends are junkies
  2. Back, and it should be the larger of the two in the back.
  3. Unless they are in pieces they are worth 200 EACH! Go man, go!
  4. I can sing the entire song...but not sure I know the title. "You got the silver you got the gold" would be my best guess. Just checked...close enough to count as right in my book. BTW for all you living under a rock it is also a Stones song. How about this one line-er? I'm a fleabit peanut monkey
  5. More Stones - Sympathy for the [6] Let's see how few words you can give and still have the song be immediately obvious. We will start with one line. I bet we can get it down to a word or two if we try real hard. Here ya go. I saw her today at a reception
  6. Rolling Stones - (I can't get no) Satisfaction Got this part of this song floating around in my head right now...not sure why The maid, shes french, shes got no sense Shes wild for crazy horse And when she strips, the chauffeur flips The footmans eyes get crossed Name it!
  7. Thanks for all the well wishes guys. I am feeling much better at 40 + 2 days then I was at 40 + 1 day. Word on the street is that my b-day [^]present (xos, networks, cross overs, what ever the current term is) will be shipping on Wednesday and get here by Friday. I can't wait![O][8]
  8. You are about 4 hours behind another diligent forum member in the general section http://forums.klipsch.com/forums/631851/ShowPost.aspx
  9. Disc Doctor http://www.discdoc.com/p14.html They have different sized brushes for 45s, LPs,78s, etc.
  10. More KLF-30s...I know they won't be smaller...size be darned, sound rules.
  11. Gary, bring the Brubeck SACD next time you come over. I have one of the better (IMO) SACD players on the market and a less then state of the art TT/Cart. It would be interesting to give the advantage to the SACD from the playback standpoint and see how things shake out. My Time Out LP is a 6 eye mono and only VG+ condition, so you might want to bring the stereo LP as well.
  12. Hey thanks guys! 4:03PM and I am just getting on the forum for the first time today. Can you say hangover? Had a great weekend drove to see some old friends on Friday evening, drove back Saturday morning. Different friends came in from out of town on Saturday to stay the weekend. Sunday was the big day had a small party that lasted till 3-ish AM. Much needed sleep, naps, sleep, water, another nap today. I feel old today...but damn, I still look good[A] CP1. My b-day treat was to get some DeanG XOs for the front three of the HT. They should be here later this week. Can't wait to hear the KH/Belle/KH all souped up.
  13. Not trying to knock a free service that Klipsch provides (BTW this forum is great) but drag, while it might work fine it is not at all user friendly. I am a software developer by trade and one of the biggest hurdles is making your super-duper-damn-fantastic product easy enough for the average public school graduate to use. Thus freeing up your 800 help desk phone line. The goal should be to make it easy enough for my 68 year old mom to use. Intuitive, obvious, easy, simple, etc. Drag has found a great "work around" but it is hardly ready for prime time. A lot of techno-geeks relish in the fact that they can cajole anything out of a computer while others think they have mystic powers. The blame lies on the developers (general statement for software developers not directed at Klipsch IT staff) for not making stuff idiot proof. Sorry for the rant. I deal with usability issues every day at work. Cliff notes version for the Cave man types: Forum Good! Search Bad!
  14. At that price you should drive over there right now and buy them. Heck you could resell for an easy 2K on ebay if you decide you don't want to keep em.
  15. OK, since GaryMD does not read the HT forums much he won't have any idea what hit him.[6] What are you willing to pay for immaculate zebra wood cornwalls? I will do the cat burglar thing and get them from Maryland to Philly. Jacksonbart is in that area I think. From philly it is pretty much a straight shot across the PA and OH turnpikes we can hit up Dylanl for some of that trip. From there CP1 can get them from the OH/IN border to Chicago; DrWho can store them till you drive down to pick up. What more do you want I have "found" [:#] you a pair and offered up a bunch of other guys time without even asking them if it is ok. only catch is that I am selling them for at least $2K. Believe me money well spent. You won't find a nicer pair.
  16. http://forums.klipsch.com/forums/338004/ShowPost.aspx Give me time to think about the LP EDIT: I remebered drag's post about pipes. I searched running | up and for the first time found something I was looking for. It was the last post on the first page of search results.' EDIT pt II: I'l take MFSL Thick as a Brick, please cuz I know you got it!
  17. I give it a D- I can't fail them because it does search...what/how is searches is beyond me. Mabye it needs a title search vs. text in post search option.
  18. CP1, nice post. I was hoping that set of Belles you offered to pick up for me a that Indy "sold it" ebay seller would have worked out if for no other reason then to meet you. I love road trips.
  19. Believe me. The $hit is going to hit the fan when this darkens my door about the same time my three, yes three, DeanG networks get her for the front trio of speakers. Not to mention other unsavory plots I am working on. Wink, wink - nudge, nudge to the knowing. Yo Dean, what is the package price on the 4 heresys used for surrounds? At least I will have clean records in the dog house with me.
  20. Where do you live man? While it might not be automatic and absolute, I bet with a little time you could find a pair within driving distance of one or more forum members. Then that member and some other might relay (meet each other along work/vacation routes) to a spot where you can make the remaining several hour drive. A mini version of this just happened for me. Thebes has an amp to loan me while mine was in the shop. He was going to LarryC's house which is close to where GaryMD works. I got the amp in a day or two saving me the PITA round trip to the D.C. area which is nothing but a gridlocked headache. Instead of a 4+ hour round trip I picked it up at Gary's house and scored a free dinner. Bad thing was I did not get to meet Thebes. I'll offer up a leg of driving some where between D.C. and Philly for free; if that helps you out. Again, where do you live? You can probably get them delivered for free if you ask nice. Worst case you will have to pay some gas money...maybe a beer or two. Side note: I have a rescued Greyhound retired from a dog track. The people who offer these dogs up for adoption are unbelievably committed to those dogs. I have seen email request to get dogs moved from Connecticut to western Ohio and they get the dogs moved 50-60 miles at a time in various cars in a weekend. Pretty cool.
  21. Just curious, do you already have CIIs and looking for another pair to match or is there some other reason you want the CIIs and do not want the CIs?
  22. The Zebra wood I have seen on Gary's and other furniture is thinner, straighter and more uniform. But I am no wood expert. Quick fini come up with a morning wood joke!
