  1. I don't know the history. Ive had them several years. Sound fine. They are sturdy and have that bid handle on the top. Grills in great shape....missing logo. There are 4 grommets on each speaker with each 4 screws. 2 of the 8 have a crack. Cheap replacement but really no need. Look great without the grills. I would rate then 6/10 cosmetic overall. However.....from a listening position.....small flaws not noticeable. I would guess somebody added the nuetric (sp) connectors on the back. Never used them. Ive never pulled out the drivers or looked at the crossover. There are pole holes on the bottom. Ive used them. However...not super snug on the poles I had. Could be a size thing. Pickup $550 $450 cash. 30116
  2. I used to have 84 la scalas. The 1st thing to consider to replace is the AL network. I changed that out and I did nothing else after that.
  3. Bump just once before I go into shipping mode

    MC60'S

I've seen em. Best example there is.
  6. I've heard them both. I've said more than once.... the 600s are chunky in the middle. They have excellent bass and mid bass which I love in music. Im not talking about subs. Have you ever seen the old video interviewing Jim Hunter back in late 80s? " 600s best system Klipsch ever made" Ram Sound was all MCM until 600s came around. Was an upgrade. Jc
  7. I know the seller. Reliable and has a very nice home with great care of his audio. jc
  8. HaHa. Well, they aren't MWM's but they get clean and loud. These things love power. I've never heard anything of this size put out this much clean sound with slam bass.
  9. Well...that is pretty much the case. I had to get permission.
  10. No those are speakers my son and I made. They are his forever.
  11. Klipsch KI-396 SMA II I bought these from a forum member. He had bought them new. They have never seen pro use. I have the original boxes. They are a 9/10. Look new. Any blemish could probably be just from the original shipping as seen with pro speakers. I love these and I have no complaints. I have to sell as I just bought a bunch of Klipsch Cinema stuff from WestCoastDrums. I'll be selling other odds and edds soon too. I'm out of room. These have the best slam. It is very noticeable. I would play without a sub a lot. They go much lower than the specs suggest. They are actually tuned lower than 40Hz in an undersized cabinet. You can add EQ down there w/o distorting if you have enough power. If you want to show off to your friends like people do....you can add a sub. I will admit that I preferred listening to them without the grills. I was drawing up plans to make my own grills that were more transparent and flimsy....but didn't get around to it. The stock grills are sturdy for pro use. They are screw-on metal with black foam-like material behind. That is fine if your dancing in your room with a beer in your hand. $2000 pick up for the pair. I will let the add run.....will add a shipping option later if there isn't a local buyer. zip 30116

Im a jube fan. I was there for 415LF vs the Jube. I liked the 415LF better by a small margin. However....that was not a universal conclusion in that room.

I used to have a pair of those. Just like that on some custom base horns. Best system I ever had.
  18. One the original spec sheets. The first versions had the K-60-M drivers x 2 on a manifold for the midrange. The later versions got rid of the midrange manifold and went to a 2" K-1132 driver. That is the version listed here.
  19. The one thing to consider with this system is outboard EQ. I recommend an Ashly slider. Or sell the Ashly crossover and get a digital crossover with EQ.
