  1. www.outlawaudio.com I am auditioning one right now through Klipsch Heresys and am happy with the sound...(outlaw 7100 7 X 100w all channels driven) There is a Forum there and you will get all the answers you need on it...lotsa Klipsch fans there too. (outlaws hideout/outlaw saloon) Enjoy, Bill
  2. ...and they all lived happily ever after...you lucky b...whoops. Bill
  3. I have 1978 Heresys and am enjoying them as they came from Hope, Arkansas! Hope (no pun intended... ) you enjoy yours...strike that...you WILL enjoy yours! Bill
  4. Okay, I have my ebay special KLF-C7 to go with the Heresys and KSF-S5s for rear surrounds...Sub is handled by the Outlaw Audio LFM-1... Thanks, Bill
  5. WOW...40 hours since my requested phone call to Mark Holmes and no call back...who would have guessed! (C'mon, Bill...give him a chance, call him...I am SURE he wants to make this right...RIGHT!) Bill
  6. Boy, if you think ebay fraud will be any help get ready for nicely written emails that mean nothing, do nothing and direct you to "be more careful" when dealing with bad ebayers...HA! Bill

  9. I am confused right now, possibly just feelin' the burn of my ebay rip but...my "old" system was a Nakamichi TA/2A 55wpc X 2 stereo...hooked up to Klipsch Heresys and KG2s...(1 or the other, I had never listened with both at once) listening to movies like "the matrix" was nice with decent punch but I thought, Why not more??? I am currently auditioning Outlaw Audio 950 Processor with a 7100 100wpc X 7...currently only listening in stereo as I am waiting to completly re-arrange everything and go 5.1... Listening in 2 channel, through the Heresys which will remain the mains I have thought..."This doesn't sound significantly better than my older Nak." Since I can still return under the 30day no questions asked guarantee, I plan to only listen to music in 2 channel and movies and what not in 5.1 I guess I am asking: Will I enjoy movies a LOT more with 5.1 over "stereo" even if I upped the mains to Cornwalls? I already know the music isn't $2,000 better...should I just stick with "2.0" for movies or keep what I have started and get going on my 5.1? Any help you can give me would be REALLY appreciated... Thanks...I asked this over in Home Theater as well but I know some of you only check one or the other site. Bill

  11. I certainly do...it seems that neither PayPal nor Ebay will do anything for me...and why should they, I'm just a "customer" while audiophileoutlet is a card carrying "member" of the "ebay community" with an ebay store and everything...I am sure Mark Holmes contributes more to ebay then I ever would (...I am sure that's the case from now on!) Their guarantees mean nothing, their words mean nothing, their promises mean nothing...I think the ONLY reason they keep answering me (PayPal doesn't) is becasue I have been civil to them and they know I won't get a thing more... Thanks REALLY for the advice and kind words...I think I will stay within the "community" from now on. Bill
  12. Ebay responded with Mr. Mark Holmes phone number and address...I just gave the number a call and after 4 rings, I got an answering machine...said it was Mark Holmes...left message on how we might be able to resolve this and left my phone number...what do you think the odds are that I'll hear from him??? I also tried to file the complaint of "significantly different than described" that ebay requires you wait 10 days to do...today, 1-16 is just after the 10th day and ...my complaint was forwarded to paypal and rejected as already solved (to whose satisfaction?) and will not be dealt with further...what a waste. Bill
  13. Thanks...still really s l o w ! ! ! Bill
  14. ...or is it just my computer??? Bill
  15. Malcom: I appreciate that but...you got money back from PayPal because you never got anything...had I not gotten anything then I too would be reimbursed...however becasue I got SOMETHING, they say their only obligation is to see the transaction completed...their feeling is...transaction was completed when I got a used, damaged, missing, broken speaker even though it was advertised as NIB...as for the payment, well it was through my PayPal funds directly from my account...no way to recover them and paypal will here no more...they told me to contact ebay...ebay says they will do everything in their power to cover their own assets...I am out of luck, quit whining and take my medicine like a good little boy! Anyway...I have not lost faith completly as my surrounds arrived and were damaged by the USPS...I emailed the seller just to let him know and to see if there was any insurance...wasn't any but the seller renewed my faith when he apologized for shipping them without packing them better and offered to refund me some money to make me happy! I didn't even ask him for any money and had already given him good feedback...anyway, his gesture had me reply to him that he made my day with his kind offer and for him to keep his money...(just as easy to repair 3 speakers as 1, right and it's not as bad as the "new" speaker and I knew in this case I was buying "used.") Anyway, thanks for the advice and good thoughts... Bill
  16. ---------------- http://forums.klipsch.com/idealbb/files/solder1.jpg"> ---------------- That's my father's soldering gun...that's also why I am afraid to EVER solder... Bill
  17. Thank you for that information...I got a response from paypal that the person whose name is on the account where my money went is "Richmond Holmes"...and ebay just sent me a response that gives me a name of an ebay employee, reiterates "call the seller", Call the police, call the FBI...riiiight. Thanks for the kind thoughts and help, Bill
  18. They do and so does ebay...both refuse to give it to me because of "privacy issues." I think after I called him a fraud, liar, cheat and thief, the odds are that he won't do anything for me...course he wouldn't do anything for me before either... Bill
  19. welcome...ask us ones only you know the answer to and feel superior... Bill
  20. I have my fathers old Sherwood S1000 Monaural Amp and Eico HFT 92 Tuner...is this worth getting up and running (has not since 1990s) but still works...can anyone point me in the direction for any information on these? I need to add a speaker if I get 'em goin' again and the electro-voice 15 incher ha long since given up the ghost. Thanks, Bill
  21. AudioFlynn: I'm the guy with 4 and audiophileoutlet has 108 ebay sales...no complaints for about 2 years... I'm 43...it wasn't too good to be true, I think we see lots of speakers still turning up NIB, but perhaps my newness to this speaker made me unaware of the popularity of the KLF-C7. Thanks, Bill
  22. Interesting...mine are from 1978 and I believe they say 8 ohm on the back... Bill
  23. dodger: Thanks man but I'm wearing armor...no fear from the seller in Tulsa! (I do appreciate your "heat reflecting abilities, dodgeman!... Bill
