PWNED! more gems from the corvette forum as posted by CTP: I would love to learn stick, just woried about how hard it will be. Everyone tells me once you have got it down it is second nature. Is this ture? I am going to do some more searching but if anyone can give me some basic advice, oh yeah and I am 18, however I am not one of those kids intrested in street racing or any of that. However, my love is for 0-60, the pinned in the seat feeling, getting on a freeway, or doing the twisties. One more question, does a stock c5 pin you a bit in the seat? That may be a stupid question but it doesnt hurt to ask, does it? How often do you hit the crest...those are some of my favorite roads, I live in la canada, so it is very close, I also enjoy going through sunland, ora vista to little ........ canyon. then to the crest. Fun stuff. Cannot wait till I get my vet!!! Btw I am a long time reader, this is my first post. I will hopfully be buying my first corvette within the up and coming months. Love your video's, stay safe! well...is she good in bed? if so send her my way...jk man...you need to teach the wife!

The Rotel 1095 amp was the best upgrade to my system so far! Except for the Klipsch speakers of course! No brightness here.

Too many of the great ones went way too young. Somewhere there's an ultimate band jamming. RIP

need to get longer component video cables.............
texxas guy replied to texxas guy's topic in Home Theater
Thanks for the suggestions. I found these two on ebay. Think they would be OK? http://cgi.ebay.com/25FT-STELLAR-LABS-3-RCA-COMPONENT-VIDEO-CABLE-DVD_W0QQitemZ5801983880QQcategoryZ64631QQssPageNameZWD1VQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.com/Ultra-RG6u-25ft-Component-HDTV-VIDEO-CABLE-Monster-25_W0QQitemZ5806683504QQcategoryZ64631QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem -
anyone got a site they would suggest? I am moving my rack to the rear of my room and will need a set 25' to 30' long. I'm not looking for "audiophile grade", just some good cables that will properly carry the signal without costing a fortune. Thanks, Larry

Klipsch Newbie: Questions/Interest in RC7(s) w/ DeanG Crossovers
texxas guy replied to luanda's topic in Home Theater
Don't know the answers to all your questions,....however, I know Dean is a busy guy, but he will answer you. As far as his upgrades go, many here have them, including myself on my KLF-20's, and I love the difference. PS: Welcome to the forum!! -
Just got this in the mail: BB to carry Denon...
texxas guy replied to IAmtnbikr's topic in Home Theater
The BB in my area just opened the Magnolia Home Theater inside the Best Buy store. Only had time for a glimpse, but I saw Denon, Pioneer Elite (Plasmas and receivers), and some Martin Logan speakers. All are displayed in a "separete listening area" within the store. I agree that this would be a great place for Klipsch's Reference line. With Ultimate closing down here, there is only one other place locally that carries Klipsch. -
I had a Rotel 1080 200x2 for the mains I did like but, seemed to be a bit bright at louder levels I would go back to Rotel but, I also what to keep my options open I think it's going to be between the Rotel 1095 and the B&K 200.5 is the B&K warmer sounding than Rotel? Thanks Rich Just my opinion again, but the brightness at louder levels is probably the speakers. I had my crossovers upgraded by DeanG here on the forum, and the difference is amazing. The slight brightness I had in my KLF-20's at loud levels is now gone. I have always loved my 20's, but this upgrade took them to a whole new level. Highly recommended. Just a thought. Good luck with whatever you decide....it's your ears that matter anyway.

Thanks to all who have responded about the Titan. I was hoping to hear from a few more actual owners of the 12" or 15" Model. I guess I am just trying to cover all the bases on a subwoofer purchase. I kept seeing posts recommending this sub and I am not at all familiar with it. Probably a little gun shy about buying a DIY vs from a more well-known company like SVS or HSU. I just want to get the most bang for my buck when I do purchase. I am leaning heavily now in the direction of the SVS 20-39+. I want a sub that is capable of playing loud, but can reach down low when needed ( the depth charge scene from U-571 comes to mind[]) Anyway, thanks for the input! Larry

Looking at your avatar are you a Z CAR fan?? Absolutely!!! My 04 is my second Z.....had an 83 280ZX back in the day.

I have been extremely happy with my Rotel 1095 and RSP 1066 with my KLF-20's. Rotel offers a lot of amp and performance for the money....IMO.
-
...and what are the specs on it? I don't find a lot of info on their site. I am asking about the 12" and 15" models. Are they comparable to SVS and HSU? Thanks in advance for the info. Larry (still weighing options)
