  1. I do something similar with my interconnects. Blue Jeans LC-1's are my go to cables. Full, rich and pleasant. Sometimes I feel the need to have some Mogami's in there. Less full, less rich sounding but with some amp/preamp combos they work. Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk
  2. Then go with a tube pre/solid state amp combo.......or solid state pre and tube amp combo. Now we're getting freaky. Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk
  3. Literally everything in my system(s) influences how I hear it.....and different combinations give different synergies. Speakers, preamp, amp, DAC, tubes, interconnects, speaker cable, room treatment and most recently I discovered (and was surprised) that even different power cables influence the sound quality. I don't have a vinyl/turntable rig but that's a whole nuther can of worms right there. Like someone had mentioned, if you can't hear these differences consider yourself lucky. But seriously......not being able to hear the difference in preamps? That's the biggest one right behind speakers LOL. Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk
  4. I took them in personally. It's about an hour drive for me. Marantz Model 30, 250, 3300, 3600, 1200..... Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk
  5. I think you'd like it. Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk
  6. Yeah, I think I've read that also. I gotta say......I streamed from a Windows machine for years and really liked it. Making the change to streaming from the Node was a big time improvement in sound quality. The whole streaming thing was an improvement. Can't recommend it enough. Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk
  7. He can still use the DAC in the Parasound. With the Node you have the option to use the built in DAC or use a seperate one externally. That's what I do with mine. (Schiit Modius) Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk
  8. They just named it the Node. Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk
  9. I have the Bluesound Node 2i and absolutely love it. If something happened to it for some odd reason, I'd probably get the new model in a heartbeat. Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk
  10. Spend baby, spend. Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk
  11. Just joking around. I have two pair of 30's that are are totally modded/upgraded. If you want to upgrade the components in your 20's go for it. You'll most likely be glad you did. Biggest thing is to make sure your cabinets are solid. Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk

  13. I'm totally against modding/upgrading these speakers. Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk

  16. Dave are the fans very loud on those amps? Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk
  17. I gotta have it all. Rolling amps and preamps is a sport around here. Depending on mood etc it varies from low powered tube to high powered pro-amps to low powered solid state to high powered vintage solid state. The results from different combinations of tubes, interconnects, power cords, speaker cables, speaker positioning, different rooms, different acoustic treatments and on and on seems endless.....and fun. Then there's DAC's..... Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk

    YouTube TV.....

So as far as not having a last channel button.....I realized that when you're watching something just hit the down arrow and it shows all the recent channels you've watched with the one on the far left being the most recent. Works for me. Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk

    YouTube TV.....

Yeah we're doing basic YouTube TV and for movies we use our Prime app. I can't remember what I counted but YouTube TV basic was well over 100 channels. More than enough for us. All the channels we needed were in there. Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk
