  2. sunburnwilly said: ===================== KlipsDud , Now we just need to work on your signature . You make it sound like a pair of speakers is the best thing to happen in your life . It makes me sad . Feel free to lie down on the couch if it makes you feel more comfortable . Now let's start from the begining ... ===================== Just when I was thinkin you wanted me to change my avatar cause it looked like Capote. OMG, I couldnt change my signature! I'm in a spell. I dont want this good spell to go away. That wouldnt be good.
  3. Geeezzz Kathy, coming from you thats a big compliment, thanks hot girl!!!!!! YoU JuSt MaDe My DaY !!! ThAnK YoU!!! A BIG kiss to ya.
  4. Now to put things back on thread, I'm running a McIntosh 500wpc on my RF-7's and they do like POWER and good CURRENT. Brings out all the best in the RF-7's. jpm, if you run the Carver ZR1600 on the LaScala one day, you might want to try a tube pre-amp with it. Bry's in Marysville, Wash run the Carver ZR1600 on the LaScala, Klipshorn, and RF-7 and it sounds so harsh because too much of a good thing and I'll bet it's the pre-amp! They run it with some cheaper pre amps and I heard them on some tubes about a week ago at a new friends, made a BIG difference, no harsh at all and very smooth sound. Has your Carver ZR1600 been modified? I've been reading the guys modify the insides of it too for better sound! Some of the picts are impressive, check it out.
  5. Not that I would expect anything less from little man that uses a picture of Truman Capote for his Avatar ======================================== Ah, ok wee willy. Just because you cant see me avatar, doesnt mean Im Truman Capote! Sorry to disappoint!
  6. Hah, Dont even flatter yourself SunCookedWillard. Any comment I made was to original poster, just because you posted sure the heck doesnt mean I was talkin to you, dont you wish, flatter yourself no more! Wee Wee Willy.
  7. Hi Kathy, I havent said nothin to suncookedwillard since that first post he was trying to poo-poo on the RF-7. I dont read his post, just skip over them. Others summed it up well for him, wasnt nothin left for me to say. Its grand to have a beauty like you agree with me!
  8. Yes, some have said here the drivers are assembled in Mexico and the final speaker done in Hope, Ark. I don't know. When I called Klipsch and ask them, they told me that they are designed by Klipsch and made in Hope, Ark. They never said anything about Mexico, not that I asked either.
  9. RX-7? I think you mean RF-7. You must have been thinking about the Mazda RX-7 while trying to type RF-7.
  10. Wow, they really scuffed them all up and dented the corners, I wonder what they used them for!
  11. =================================================================== hows that saying go you pay in peanuts you get monkeys =================================================================== Total BS! There have been issues with very expensive $$$ that you read about all the time on other forums. As for Quality Control for the RF-7's, I have no issues with mine!
  12. Holy realism Batman, I think wonder boy might get it, eventually!
  13. Nice pictures. Nice Speakers, Nice old Historical buildings too!
  14. Wise ole Chinese once say: Take American Slave work and do what American too good for, and soon we buy and own American and be BIG giant. All while making big giant, little giant.
  15. UPS insurance cost most be outragous! I donts even use UPS anymores cuz they damage too much, they did a delivery once of a DVD player I order online put it in the side garden hidden in the bushes, never left a note on the door to let us know, I kept calling the delivery status, they kept saying they delivered it, my Dad was doing some yard work and found the box soaking wet cuz it was raining the whole week, the player didn't work, too much dew collected inside. It was a pain gettin UPS to fess-up with it but my Dad got it done, but it took work on the phone and getting the UPS guy (who dumped it in the garden) over the house so my Dad could question him why he left no note on the door for us to know where he put it. UPS always seem to crunch or dent boxes, some made it ok, some didnt, so now I dont use them, have better lucks with FedEx Ground, Fedex, or couple of small del. companies.
  16. ========================================================== I guess that would be bad PAF? (parent approval factor). ========================================================== PAF..... or (Paw Acceptence Factor) or (Pop Acceptence Factor), LOL
  17. =========================================================================== The speakers are manufactured in Hope from drivers manufactured in Mexico. =========================================================================== Really, who manufactures the drivers in Mexico?? Both Cone and Horn?? First I've heard of this, tried to do a search but nothing comes up on it. Curious who the manufacturer would be??
  18. I called Klipsch and asked them where the RF-7's were made, they told me they are designed and made in the USA by Klipsch. The Synergy line is made in China when I looked at the back of them in BestBuy.
  19. Yep, it's strange but no matter what speaker forums am on, there is always some Heritage Bonehead that tries to say how much his kick a** over the RF-7 or somethin alongs that line. I was told by lots of forum members that you cants say how good a Reference speaker is to a Heritage user or they go loopy, seems to be true.
  20. sunburnwilly, who really gives a hoot what you think! There is no way you can know if Paul would approve or not, you aren't him. Who cares if you think your speaker can trounce, you sound like my sister's 3 year old!
  21. Congrats on your new RF-7's. They are awesome speakers and I is blessed to have a pair too, lov'em for sure. They really cook out some beautiful music.
  22. Will Klipsch let you order any in metal?? I would like to have mine replaced to metal.
