  3. Thanks guys. I'm pretty sure my sub has a filter. Would that be the same as the phase control? In this case which would be the easyiest to tune? I currently have the reciever at 120 and all but the front L&R set to small in the configurater.
  4. What function does LFE have on my receiver. I just got a digital receiver and my Denon handbook does not like to explain the differnt functions. Also what dhould I have it set to? I have a RC-25, 2 RF-25's and 2RB-25 as my rears. (With a KEF 10' sub) I would really appreciate some feedback. Thanks in advance.
  5. I thought the movie was pretty cool. Not great but entertaining. The Rock really made me laugh!
  6. ok, ok....I'll stop....That was funny!
  7. I did not mean to offend you Freak! lol...seriously, you obviously feel very strongly against this topic and I am glad you have stuck around enough to read the threads. Again, I love reading the threads in the Forum and learn lots from everybody. I know that we are ultimatley here to help each other out and that's why I initially chimmed in. That's why we signed up for this right? I meant my last post to be compassionate not offensive. But I stick to my faith and walk and my identity is in Him all else is just details and obstacles through which I get to excercise my faith. Lighten up.
  8. Dear Freak, I know it's not warranted but I will pray that the Lord will soften your heart. It seems that you feel strongly against prayer.Too many people these days go by their so called "logic" instead of seeking direction from the Lord. It is good to use your brain but by the same token we did not give our own selves life nor can we pretend we are the experts either. I know that there is power in prayer and my friend I will leave you with that.
  9. I will also lift up our brother or sister to the Lord. I think that it's excellent that you brought up the request and frankly it's more important then speaker talk. I enjoy so much what you all have to say. May God direct the individuals heart that is in turmoil and blessings to all of you.

  11. I feel very enlightened now. I appreciate you taking the time to let me know how you really feel! Your last post has really pumped my up and motivated me get out there and educate the misinformed including the accociates at the Bose stores "Friends don't let friends buy Bose."
  12. WOW! Thank you for the wealth of knowledge you imparted on me. It makes me feel good that I did not hop on the Bose band wagon and I actually came out better in regards to my pocket book. I love having people over and introducing them to Klipsch I have never had anyone say anything negative about them. I have even picked people brains that don't even sell them, and all have great things to say about Klipsch!!
  13. Thanks a lot for the response. That's good enough for me! I do not have a Klipsch sub but I am more then please with how well my system sounds. I am using a Denon receiver and a Kef 10" powered sub. Good enough for me! The only thing that gets my friends is the bulkiness of the speakers. They are very turned on to those little cubes. I agree that airmovement has a lot to do with the kind of sound that is produced. I guess they are satisfied with mediocrity...thanks for info!
  14. Thanks but unfortunatley most of theirs are mounted on their wall and I doubt they would take them down. I really would love to hear them side by side. My dad even has a set of Bose. He has not heard my system yet....
  15. Congrats man! I asked this in another thread but how do the Reference-25 series compare to Bose? I just completed my set and never considered Bose. I have a bunch of friends that have Bose and never heard of Klipsch. I checked out Bose' website to do some product comparisons but I did not see where they advertise specs. I would like a leg to stand on for bragging rights so let me know your thoughts.
  16. Ok, I notice that Klipsch fanatics disapprove with everything Bose. How do my Reference-25 series equipment compare with their products? I tries to look it up but I could not find a good list of spec for the Bose speakers.
  17. Hello, I am new to the whole home audio biz and the forum. I am trying to connect my playstation 2 to get surround sound to it. I have my TV hooked up to the back of my DVD player with an S cable. Now, I'm not sure wheather I should hook it up through my receiver at the moniter terminal but I don't think it will improve my picture when I watch DVDs. I think I only have one in and out at the back of my TV. I think another part of my problem is that the S cable is taking priority and won't feed the regular video signal. Please advise how I should hook it all up. I tried to call Denon but could not get a hold of anyone live!!!
  18. Here is a copy of my fl plan. I have carpet floors but I think you should still go with your heart.
  19. I do not have any technical advise but more " I feel for you man". I just moved into a new house and just got a similar set up as what you are considering. I am more then pleased with the sound and know I have a great product. Are you planning on staying in your house for long? Perhaps you may consider getting what you "really" want and work with it from there. I started off as a car audio buff and was so loyal to Infinity, that I wanted my HT to be that make as well. I told the sales guy I knew what I wanted and he wasn't going to be able to change my mind...well needless to say he put them against Klipsch and it wasn't even the same sport. Klipsh sounded so much better!!! My current set up is a Denon receiver, 2 RF-25's, RC-25, RB-25 as my surrounds and a KEF 2150 for my sub. I actually got it all set up in my house last night for the first time and I'm still amazed at how well it all sounds together. I hope your wife will learn to appreciate your HT tastes. BTW my wife didn't at first but now she realizes the value that our Klipsch bring to our home theater. Good luck!
  20. Another good one is in National Treasure. There is an explosion at the beginning of the movie where the wood particles are crumbling all around you. It sounds Sooooo cool! I have a KEF PS2150 for my sub and it shakes my entire house and then some while my Klipsch fronts and rears pick up the rest.
  21. One of my favorite movies for sound has got to be The Incrdibles. It's hard to choose which part is my favorite, but I really like the part where Mr Incredible shatters the window of his car. My RF-25's and RC-25 sound so clear it's well...incredible
  22. I just went and checked that link and it lead me to the videos of PWK. I did not know that the company was founded in Arkansas! I have driven through Hope a few times. I might try to out where the HQtrs are and schedule a tour.
