Yes I did not push the bid button. I wanted to be somewhat sure I would be around to listen to them. Another reason being since no one bid I thought I would help him save the fees buying outside Ebay, so I offered his starting price. All that aside, we exchanged emails just fine until I wanted to firm up the price... then all of a sudden email stopped working. The next email I got was mo money and I have someone else interested. So again yes I did not press the button, maybe next time I will without thinking about helping someone out. I would take the high ground also if I got mo money.

These look alot like a new sub Epik is coming out with. How would these compare to a tuba horn sub or a Danley ?

It would be nice if they could come to an agreement and this story have a happy ending. No dialog except give mo money. No bids, a lot of lookers. I had to have some answers to a condition.... one reason I did not bid the other was if sold on ebay there would be fees that would reduce profit even more so I contacted the seller and expressed an interest. email back and forth worked fast and good until I brought up the price, then the moonbeams fell out of alignment.... and email stopped working Since the starting price was $750 with pick up ( no meeting part way ) that is what I offered. I guess I should have bid on ebay. Anyway Am I wrong being upsetwith this shell game... or did I miss a meeting ? Let the arrows fly, Thank You All

On another thought you could use your computer and a Grant Fidelity tube DAC -11 for $325. It takes inputs from USB or Optical or s-pif or analog. With a choice of outputs. I use it with a Dell Computer and a program called XBMC to stream audio and video.

Can you use an 18" driver ?

Well dang it... I was hoping to be wrong! Not concerned about the wiring per se', since I presumed it was right. I was just hoping I could tilt the meters (LED's) somehow so they'd show more in the operational range during normal listening. I guess with the partial signal they get and the volumes used....it just isn't going to happen. oh well... Richard, I may have mis spoke... I think there is a problem with your set up that can not be repaired in Florida.... That said I will gladly take those big black boxes off you hands and will not charge you a penny.

Check out the block diagram on the EV web site. It looks like you are correct in that the inputs are like a Y connector. Should be no delay. In case I was vague, let me ask a different question.... Are you saying that if I go from preamp to input on Dx1, then take the parallel output on the Dx1 and feed it as the input on Dx2, that there would be some delays & issues? I would have thought it would accomplish the same thing as putting a Y splitter further upstream. This isn't the case? By the way, I never thought about changing the slope!! Just goes to prove I'm a plug/play guy, not the tinkerer like some of you are!! (and I tip my hat to all tinkerer's tinkerability)
