  1. It would be great if the Klipsch Museum of Audio History could make this publication available for purchase to visitors of the museum and as an online purchase. It would support the museum’s education mission and provide an additional source of revenue to support its outreach efforts.

  2. Reversing polarity can be done by reversing the wires to a driver at the terminal strip on the balancing network. This inverts the movement of that driver by 180 degrees and changes the interaction of that driver’s output with other drivers in the crossover region.

Unless I am mistaken Roy mentioned doing the very same thing to PWK before he died and got disciplined for asking such a question being PWK said he had already tried it decades ago with no improvement. As CBH just said you should not believe everything you read on net. That and always consider who it is say something. Do they hold an engineer degree like PWK.

I remember a game from childhood where they line up the class in a row and the first student reads a sentence to the next person, who then repeats it to the next person until it passes through the entire line. The last person to hear it then goes back to the first person to compare what they heard to the original sentence. It NEVER comes close to matching even when the students are told to repeat it exactly as they heard it. Too funny!

In the spirit of Paul W Klipsch, we are offering an upgrade kit for forte iii’s to forte iv’s. The kit will cost $399. The part number is 1070334. Use this part number when calling customer service to order the kit.

Very happy that this philosophy is still alive and well at Klipsch. It honors Mr. Klipsch and respects the loyalty of customers with a real and important benefit. Thanks to all who made this happen!

Only someone who hasn't heard the new Jubilee would make such a comment.  I've had the great privilege of hearing the new Jubilee twice now, last October at JubFest and in March at the PWK Birthday Bash.  All the attendees at JubFest were Underground Jubilee owners or their significant others except for me.  (I was invited because I had put in my preorder for them in May of 2021.)  It was the unanimous opinion that the new Jubilee with its "horn-loaded vented system" bass bin was a significant improvement in every way over the Underground Jubilee.  Anyone thinking Roy would do anything "half-baked" is being ridiculous.  Also, it's not like this is the first implementation of the horn-loaded vented system.  Ask all the Underground Jubilee owners who purchased a KPT-1802-HLS (or the smaller 1502) cinema subwoofer to fill in the bottom octaves what they think of them.

What he said.... I was there too!

Using two la scala bass bin does extend the low end because the mouths couple. And if you want to extend the horn loaded low end……kpt-1802.

Exactly right... heard a setup like this at a live concert two weeks ago at the Paul W. Klipsch auditorium in Hope AR. Outstanding performance with two La Scalas and one kpt-1802, there was absolutely nothing missing, hearing is believing!

For the best illusions of the stage and imaging and etc etc, it would best if there was nothing but a smooth wall between the speakers......wall optional.

I have reached the same conclusion with numerous placement experiments with the Jubilees at our restaurant. Smooth walls or no walls provides excellent results. Once you experience what happens when there are no problems acoustically, it is easy to hear the problems that result from something that messes with the sound stage.

    Happy birthday Paul!!

Thank you for the gift of great sound! You were willing to do the heavy lifting to advance the art and science of sound reproduction, we are forever grateful for your contributions!

For some reason I had in my mind you made platforms with wheels.

Travis, I have some of those furniture dollies that are sold at Lowe’s or Home Depot. They work just fine for moving the Jubes around the shop or the dining room.

@Bill W. can you help him out with what you did at your restaurant to be able to bring then in and outside easily?

The Jubilees are moved safely and easily with a simple two wheel hand cart. I just slip it underneath and rock it backward, then it can be moved as a single unit, top and bottom. I know I am not typical, I have worked in the supermarket industry for most of my career, unloading semi-trucks and handling heavy freight. For me, these are easy.
