If one knows something will offend another and they say or print it anyway … well, i won’t exercise my freedom by saying what i think of that person. In all honesty, I feel sorry for the person that wants to offend someone. Life must really suck if one has to be like that. Personally, I think life is much more enjoyable when we’re being cool to each other.

Hey Chuck--I bought my nine year old granddaughter a guitar for her birthday--I’ll give you the same advice that i gave her, “stick with it and by the time you get to high school you’ll be the cool chick.” Feel free to disregard my advice.

The Polyphageous Shot Hole Borer and the Golden Spotted Oak Borer are pretty rampant here in SoCal. Infestation spreads quickly and great caution must be used removing the tree and disposing of the diseased wood. There actually is supposed to be some sort of tree vaccination; however, it only lasts for two years and who knows the financial cost. You’re either skilled or lucky felling that tree yourself…that was big enough to do some serious damage to your house. Glad it came down safely.

Best song writer in the business--hands down, by far. Haven’t bought it. Considered seeing his concert; but, read that he was doing very little of his old stuff (pre-80s)--which happen to be the ones i like best. My impressions? I do a pretty good Bullwinkle and a decent Yogi Bear, and I’ve nailed the Randy Mantooth on acid impression.

You know what i DON’T like about coffee … it means I’m on my way to work. ​Gary … enjoy your heat wave. I had to travel about 30 miles to the east yesterday to an area we call the Inland Empire (it has other not so nice names as well); but, it hit 90 degrees. Didn’t notice the heat so much because i was focusing on how long it took to get there … it took over TWO hours in the bumper to bumper traffic.

Hey Chuck…tomorrow can she makes french fries? I have a brand new bottle of ketchup…well almost brand new, i opened it earlier to put on my nachos. (i didn’t eat good today…but i only ate once so it probably balanced out).

The earth’s been pretty resilient thus far; and we (society) presume it always will be -- that’s the scary part. I know part of the earth will get warmer if i try to cook up some of that barley soup we talked about in that other thread.
