Joe … this is very sad news. I have prayed for you and your family and, over the computer, we’re standing there alongside you. Steve

Chuck -- You will be told what to think and what to post. Welcome to the Machine.

Where’s the Ketchup? As you have probably read, I eat at the Del Taco regularly…ok, daily. I’m the guy that orders the breakfast burrito (or regular burrito) and says, “add Ketchup.”When I was a kid I put ketchup on everything. Then I worked at a McDonald's, and since then the smell of ketchup makes me sick. Sorry just can't do ketchup anymore. that’s cool … as was said around the dinner table when i was growing up..."mais para mim” (more for me--in Portuguese).

Thanks Mark -- now i’m in the same boat as Genevieve … i love the original Flight of the Phoenix--i officially add that to the growing list of my favorite two. Hope the originator isn’t upset; but, this thread was started a few days ago and nowadays five is the new two. Steve

No, i didn’t know that…interesting bit of trivia there. She can teach Sunday School with Alice Cooper--he teaches Sunday School as well.

Oh yeah, let me put a fourth in my top two … the original War of the Worlds. When i was a kid, i thought the street lights looked like those martians.

I hated Wizard of Oz. Hated. It scared me to death when I was a kid. Two words; flying monkeys. I always thought Margaret Hamilton's portrayal of the witch is the cinematic benchmark for a like character. Maybe it was me being a kid and she was green that made her so memorable.

I left the light on in the hallway and don’t feel like getting up to turn it off -- does that qualify as an electrical emergency? i know you wouldn’t have a problem finding my pad as it’s in your old stomping grounds!

very true.

Thank you for remember Pete…what a great talent he was.

Wizard of Oz (a film SO far ahead of its time), Jaws, and It’s a Wonderful Life. (hmmm, just wondering what a shrink would say about my choices)?
-
Congratulations … now you're entitled to a personally autographed picture of Randy Mantooth and Bob Dylan’s new unlisted phone number. Anyone know what i’m talking about?
-
Blessings brother … i pray for a quick and complete recovery and peace for you and your family. Steve

There are no stupid questions, just stupid people that ask questions.

Sometimes I miss the snow days from my time in Michigan; but, then sometimes I don’t. Every once in a while the sunshine gets boring. Stay warm gentlemen.

that’s how the digestive system works.

Saw them back in 82 (i think) George was one of the opening acts for the Rolling Stones (along with J. Geils and Prince). Interesting day that was.

Sounds like my plans … Del Taco (of course), turn on the game, turn off the sound, grab a guitar, forget about the game.
-
Can someone teach me how to UNSEE this? Carl, I’m worried.

Yeah Brother ... Happy Birthday. May your day be most enjoyable.

i guess you all are sleeping already -- good for you, get some rest for the weekend ahead. Steve, say something coffee related… I had a cup of coffee before giving a presentation today at work. I was one of several speakers. I don’t do it often, so i don’t prepare (pretzel logic, huh?). Said a prayer and then started talking. Everyone were all business … except one person … I’ll let you guess who. So, they’re laughing, then crying, then writing home … afterwards, my boss says to me, “you’d better be careful or you’re going to do ALL of these … because you’re great." Then we stopped at Starbucks and i did NOT get a free coffee. Enjoy your sleep gentlemen…pour a cup for me in the morning--it’s my working Friday. Steve

Considering you live where the ground and buildings can shake I hope the wall mounts can handle it.........know nothing about hanging one myself never had one fall yet. Not sure if Bruce visits this thread … if you do Bruce, have you ever played the Taylor T5? I was going to go straight acoustic; but, saw a T5 (listed as blemished but often you can’t even tell) it’s being offered on zzounds. com for $1,975 -- never played one seriously; but, held one a long time ago and it sure was comfortable.
