The sp1 does not need the rca to make the sub work, as it should. Just use the standard speaker wire to connect. My guess is that the speaker output and rca output on your receiver is out of phase... therefore canceling the sub output...

John is right... Klipsch does not own the tools for thoes drivers. Yes, you can get the drivers and networks from our parts department.
