  1. Sounds great, it's simply much too difficult to maintain. We have a hard enough time with our own dealer locator on our website! Adding legit upgrade artists and the like would be a challenge to vet properly. And then there's the policing of disputes! My head hurts just thinking about it.

I was thinking more along the lines of The Jeffersons.
  3. Nonsense. It bears discussion. When do I ever lock threads?? I think it makes sense on hobbyist forums, but not manufacturer forums. Too political. Is there an example of a one where it does work? I'd be curious to see.
  4. With me leaving, adding admin duties to the forum is probably the last thing on their minds, I'm sure. then again, I could be waaaaaaaaaaaaaay off.

That thought definitely crossed my mind.

Feels weird, not gonna lie! Thanks to everyone for all the kind words. I haven't had time to respond to everyone individually yet, but I will!! You guys really are great. I hope you continue to make this place special.

The first new Reference line will not replace the existing Reference line. So, yes and no. The RF-7 will remain as the flagship, but not of the new line coming out in July.

    What are you reading?

Haha! It isn't golden, I can tell you that much.

    What are you reading?

I much prefer fiction. It's an escapism thing, I think. But then again, a lot of fiction is based on real life experiences of the author, so it's a fine line. This was a recent read (of an older book) that I couldn't put down:

No. All will be clear in time.

    What are you reading?

Game of Thrones. Because I'm an intellectual.
  13. If the dealer is authorized, no.

Keep in mind the new Reference line coming out in July DOES NOT replace the current Reference line. It is called the "base" line, and will be a more value positioned offering in mass retail. Still awesome, but not the high-end specialty retail products. More Reference news coming in the next few months.

I don't know most of the people in the photo, but I can point out Kat on the far left (graphic artist), Alex kneeling in the middle with white headphones (social media specialist), Vlad kneeling next to him (headphone product mgr), Michael and Tony (product mgrs) on the right next to Steve Phillips in the yellow T (retired tech support). I wish I could have stayed for the event! So glad you enjoyed it. Robert and Josef are great ambassadors for us, and I know they had fun as well.

    Save Amy!

    In due time.
  17. Saw the mom (or dad?) only for a few seconds. Not a great pic, but it was exciting to see. I'd never seen one in the wild until this weekend...
  18. Bald eagle's nest on the north side of Indy. These are the two "babies." I wish I had a longer zoom lens...

After much difficult consideration, I have decided to leave Klipsch for new opportunities. My last day will be July 3rd. I can't tell you how much I've enjoyed being a part of this forum for the past 14 years, and this wonderful company, and how much I've learned from you all. I know I will miss it. I won't post my personal email here, but please drop me a note to my work email or PM here before the 3rd if you want to stay in touch. I consider so many of you my friends. I'm sure I'll pop in from time to time, out of sheer habit if nothing else. I leave you in the very capable hands of Alex and Chad. They are great guys, I promise.
  20. Not looking to have any working class fans there? Seems like you'd get more visitors on the weekend. At lot of working class folks work on the weekends. The tour was the main request from the fans on reddit, hence the 6pm start time. The earlier special event is intended for employees, but we are welcoming all.
  21. The gist of the story is this is a unique opportunity for exposure of the vintage Heritage line. I think it's great, and kudos to Alex for spotting the tweets and building a relationship with an influential person and true fan who can help us get the word out.
  22. So I guess you found one, then made the gold-on-black one that Elijah Wood is wearing. Any chance Klipsch is going to do a run of those shirts? Yes, we had that one made from a scan of the old artwork. We'll have them available soon!
