  1. Believe he is on the West Coast Bill. Acurus made a 200 x 3 amp bit might be hard to find. It would definitely have no problem powering them.
  2. Well....I did pick up wakejunkie’s RF-7’s for $50 LOl. But $400 for RS-7’s is still a good buy. I just tend to find deals at ridiculous prices.
  3. Not trying to question the shipping rate, just seems like it would really deter someone that is a long ways away
  4. You won’t hear a difference from 15 watts. You have to Double the wattage to gain 3db in volume.
  5. Yes I started with just the HK3490 receiver. Adding the Acurus A200 wasn’t a night and day difference but it does provide more bottom end which is great because I don’t use a sub not to mention I don’t have to worry about the Acurus running out of gas when I’m pushing them hard.
  6. I think it’s safe to say you are in the awesome zone
  7. If a sub claims a rating it should be able to hit it. Below 20Hz the RSW-15 literally drops off like a rock
  8. Sub could use upgrading but definitely a nice system.
  9. Not really. Having surrounds that are different than your mains and center aren't a problem. A long time ago, I considered adding some KPT surrounds but just about everyone said I would not benefit at all from making the switch. The RS-62 II are completely capable of keeping up with the LaScala Trio. The RSW-15's sound awesome with the LaScalas. I only wish they dug below 20Hz. One day, I'll replace them with (4) 18's in an IB (Infinite Baffle) setup or possibly horn loaded subs but horn subs typically don't go down to single digits.
  10. Looks like a nice KLF-30 System for anyone looking - https://tampa.craigslist.org/pnl/ele/d/klipsch-speakerssub-yamaha/6443424610.html
  11. Correct, unless you bypass the speakers internal crossover, it won’t make any difference.
  12. Any speaker can be ceiling mounted with the right hardware. But it will likely have to be DIY (Do It Yourself).
  13. This should help - http://www.klipsch.com/ceiling-speakers Welcome to the forums
  14. It would be difficult to pay $1800 and get a better sounding system new. Still waiting on some photos.
  15. I probably have 10hrs on them. I haven’t noticed any difference in the sound but then again, I’ve never really bought into the “breaking in” period.
  16. That's really a difficult question because the LaScalas are in a completely different environment being raised and in an acoustic treated room and connected to different equipment. LaScalas have an Onkyo Receiver while the Forte III have an Acurus A200 (200 x 2) amp.
  17. Getting confused at who the questions are being addressed to. LOL
  18. I bought a pair of White RS-7's for $50 and gave them to wakejunkie. He LOVES them! Pretty awesome speakers - https://community.klipsch.com/index.php?/topic/166952-another-youthman-dealhooking-wakejunkie-up-with-some-near-mint-rs-7s/
  19. Photos of your room will also help us as we try and offer suggestions. Also, adding your system info to your Signature will help us as well.
  20. So why haven't we seen any photos of this room? Don't be shy...post away.
