  1. Welcome to the forum! Not familiar but, other members here may well be. There is support info. here and on your paperwork meanwhile. Sometimes manual instructions can be vague in answering some questions. Cheers!
  2. Humidity here is killer. AC is completely necessary, or a swamp cooler. That goo must be magic but the cyastat must be the static eliminator also. Just gave and am giving the museum and pilgrimage a small membership plus donation. It is about me fulfilling past obligations from the recent past. Good fortune
  3. Sounds like a good offer either way for your daughter. She needs to go through your 2 channel course then. Law school sounds like a nice career nowadays. Good fortune to her! Bet she gets the Heresy, lol!
  4. Lol, we will have to I reckon...good fortune!
  5. Hello, Have you rewired both speakers or do you know which speaker may be out of phase? If not there is a simple test or two like listening to both independently. Or just to troubleshoot, the speaker that is troubling, reverse the wires and check low volume. Power off.
  6. Probably confusing it with another product by a couple of makers that looks like a sponge you wet and clean marks and walls with. Sounds like a strong or magic then...thanks
  7. Welcome to the forum. You are at the right place. Pics are nice...enjoy! Edit: welcome back !
  8. See now, and have value placed as well. Cool! Sold that BS mintish lp as was no good to me as read link here about the quality over etching/graphics not as good. collector's item so sold it. on the e-bay. Sortof fun to know and could turn hobby. Joke I heard: Usually prefer to not give out my age but, same as a woman exercising her perogative . When I am asked, I say I am exercising...my equal rights. Cheers and having a brew Full Range. Edit: Discogs you turned me onto before to value lp...
  9. Sorry, I am not hip. Could you elaborate? Please
  10. Have feelers out on TT's but no response. Like a deal and a bargain but, right now am just going with my Technics TT as it is sufficing. Have learned a lot from my research, I hope. Playing some 45's that I have here when I get setup again just for hoots. Really thinking of doing the goo solution on my collection of keepers. Hope to get a TT local, as in, not Tampa, Orland, or Jax. Like a good roadtrip but, really like picking up more than one item. Did find a Music Hall MMF-1 that looks nice and trouble free, as in more modern.
  11. Purple Passion: Everclear and grape juice. Like a good iced tea, only takes one...
  12. Interesting idea. Another reason for a Duxtop...thanks!
  13. Bib, a good idea Gave up wearing a belt, now just wear Justin Wilson suspenders. Red Lobster throwaway bibs. lol
  14. Dang, Rodney sure is on top of the vittles. Know he cooks some good steak cause, seen the pics. Dang, giant shrimp too...cool! Like my seafood, haven't ate a crawdad but would. Oyster contest winner friend loves them. Really like a blue crab boil. That and a beer(or so), am good to go... Edit: Like my crab extra large like my shrimp.
  15. Thanks for the clarification. It really sounds like a no-brainer then, after you have the recipe for the solution. Sure I can find the recipe following Neil's postings.
  16. Had been under the impression it was a coat that was allowed to dry and you just peeled it off like a facial mask. Have some vinyl that needs more than I am giving it.
  17. Didn't address that but yes, if timber was cut and hauled away from the property, he may have been paid some decent amount of money( for his trouble).
  18. If you do put metal markers on the 2 corners involved, could see putting fishing line between the two and attaching posted signs and safety orange markers tied to the line along the boundary. A poor man's fence. Valid enough to behoove one.
  19. Call the tax accessor's office with the county and discuss it with them. There should be a plat from last survey done on your property with all four concrete(?) markers showing. If what you are saying is you want to put the green metal poles at all 4 markers, and mark them with a sign then can see no problem. Nice that you are at least on speaking terms as, a bad neighbor is not wanted as you know. Have known of some folk even moving survey markers to their advantage..Of course each locale may operate differently. A survey then at his expense could get his attention. For trespassing around about here. You have to call the law and tell them about trespassers after property posted. First time they warn. Next time they fine. Good fortune
  20. See there are at least 3 prices ranges on the page from $99 to 49... Guess I missed the past post Dave. And it fries chicken...amazing.: https://www.amazon.com/Duxtop-8100MC-Portable-Induction-Countertop/dp/B0045QEPYM/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?ie=UTF8&qid=1524513162&sr=8-1-spons&keywords=duxtop+induction+cooktop&psc=1
  21. Can a physical equalizer of decent quality affect a change for the better with the tweeter time alignment in a smallish room ?Thinking maybe not but, thought I would ask you or anyone else as well.( LaScala ) Thanks!
  22. Think that may be the case. Some like the 45's as they perceive(real) to sound better. Interesting. Let know if you try it, if you want.
  23. Sounds interesting. The 78's should sound alright depending on their quality physically and how recorded. A lot of TT's do not have 78 anymore but, depending on the needle worth a try. They make dedicated 78 stylus but, you could carefully try, if you want to.(Thinking you know all of that) Cool...I hope, lol
  24. Here is my setup(temporary) I do nearfield listening and others here do as well. Thinking DeanG does as well. If they can sound good this close together, and they do then, anything farther apart should work for you. Just saying. When I like, I sit in an adjacent room and they still sound good enough. Was actually pleasantly surprised at how good they sound in this smallish/crowded room. For laughs @flat4
  25. Dang, nice enough close up of the stylus. What is that hangy down piece of metal next to the needle?
