  1. Check over at the McIntosh forum at audiokarma.org...........at least three or four have done the led conversion kit from Audio Classics.
  2. Need to find a schematic for Cornwall II crossover. Thanks in advance for your help! Klipschfully,
  3. I do not work for PS Audio. I have used and currently use their products with great results. Would suggest you try a power plant and an outboard DAC. I used a P300 power plant with Khorns and a Perpetual Technologies DAC. Currently using a Premier Power Plant with Cornwalls and a McIntosh MDA 1000 DAC. PS Audio products are available on Audiogon or order direct from them to try in your system-30 days-money back policy. Let your ears decide. Try swapping out the Sqeezebox with another source and compare the same music. Klipschfully,
  4. I owned one for a few months-Can't go wrong for 700 bucks.......being in a pawn shop offer 500.00. Either way you will never lose money on it if you decide to sell it later. Manley has outstanding customer service and one of the funniest web sites around. You will be saying TUBES RULE! very soon. Reviews for the Stingray are on the Manley web site.

  6. Are you a New Yorker, too? Funny,is it me, or are you Upstate Eastern New Yorkers just not interested in meeting other Klipsch Guys? Funny how the guys out West are glad to meet new people..............maybe, this is another subject for another day............. Vermont-but I never pay attention when crossing State lines-The Quest for Klipsch has no boundaries.
  7. Thanks!...........now for that outboard crossover project these Cornwall's should wind up sounding pretty decent.

  9. Khorns are SOLD. Still have some cables left if anyone is interested. Here is a link. http://cgi.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/cl.pl?cablspkr&1160583918&item Thanks!!!
  10. If you can afford a pair-BUY THEM!!! I've had them in a room as small as 13x13. Heresy's are much easier to transport and Cornwalls are probably the best choice for most deserving of a demo. Best of luck!
  11. Khorns are SALE PENDING a listening and visual scheduled for Tuesday-will post the outcome directly after. If anything CHANGES before that time-will post here (call dibs) THANKS!
  12. Khorns are still for sale. Will post here when they are traded or sold. If any interest at all your best bet would be to call me. Next week they will be actively marketed to a dealer. Would prefer to sell to a Forum member. Thanks!
  13. Khorns are Black Birch and here is the link- http://cls.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/cls.pl?spkrfull&1159922096
  14. 352 is gone-picked up a Tact Audio M2150 XDM with onboard room correction. Sort of a one box solution-it replaced amp-pre-P!a-P3a-P3b. In the process of moving and need to launch the Khorns asap. Don't want to put them in storage.
  15. Have to move this week-$2,000.00 or best reasonable offer. Wanted to offer these to Forum members before they go to a Dealer. For sale Khorns in black built in 2000 with AK-3 crossovers. Must pick up in Vermont. They are listed on Audiogon with pics-my user id is klipschfan. $2000.00 if anyone is interested-here is my contact info- (802) 324-4056 msgbn@aol.com Thanks!
  16. True love and devotion can only be obtained from a canine. Put your time and money into a pair of Klipschorns-they will last longer and give more pleasure. I used to be married-now I just lease!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  17. Re: No 60th Anniversery Khorns for America Don't think that PWK would approve. Should have been offered to the public in the U.S. as well. How many Klipsch dealers have Khorns on the floor to audition? The answer to the above question would explain the lack of dealer interest. Since everything is in place at Hope to make a special edition Khorn why not allow it to remain a special order item with a few changes. Take away the diamond and substitute the lacewood with amberwood or morado. Can we sign up now for the 50th Anniversary Cornwall?
  18. Thought I would offer these to Forum members first before they go on Audiogon. For pick-up only in Vermont. Anyone interested please pm for info. or email msgbn@aol.com Klipschorns-built in 2000 AK-3 Black excellent condition. $2900.00 McIntosh MC352-350wpc amp excellent condition. $2750.00 Will also be selling McCormack ALD-1 pre and Perpetual Technologies P1a/P3a/P3b combo soon. Reason for selling-To purchase a new system.(never ends)
  19. Coytee, While I can't offer any advice for your amp situation, I have done business with Brad a few times. He is honest and a pleasure to deal with. On top of that he makes the best cables that I have ever heard with Khorns/McIntosh. So even if the amp deal doesn't work out, you may want to consider a demo of some cables for your system. Best of luck!
  20. Would have to agree with Al K. about the in-home demo of Heritage. Most dealers will not display Heritage models because of floor space & cost. Here is a copy of an email that I sent to Amy on this topic. -----Original Message----- From: Msgbn@aol.com [mailto:Msgbn@aol.com] Sent: Friday, January 20, 2006 10:13 AM To: Amy Unger Subject: Pilgrimage 2006! Hello Amy, Please add two more to your list. Have always wanted to see the the factory. My Klipsch addiction started 29 years ago when I first listened to a pair of Heresy's. Right now I'm listening to Klipschorns. With the revamping of the Heritage line-how about a sales promotion to increase sales and jump start the Heritage line. Allow forum members (Pilgrims) to purchase from the Heritage line at Dealer cost if they agree to allow a DEMO in their home. This will increase sales and public awareness of the Heritage line. Everybody benefits. Tyler Acoustics has a program and I have included the link for you. http://www.tyleracoustics.com/home_demo.html I live in Vermont-the land of cows and trees. There are no Klipsch Heritage dealers to demo the new products. I believe in order to keep the Heritage line alive and thrive that Klipsch will have to introduce new listeners to their products. One last thing-Please tell THE MAN BEHIND THE CURTAIN that I said THANK YOU for the Cornwall III. It was and will continue to be one of the finest all time speakers ever built. Klipschfully yours, Klipschfanatic
  21. Stop by or give Ernie a call at Audio Classics. He is a straight shooter and also owns Khorns. I bought my McIntosh amp and a McCormack pre from him. They have outstanding customer service & selection of audio gear. Well worth the six hour drive from Vermont. www.audioclassics.com
