It looks like a dark stained wood (and some messy edges) under that box ( I agree kinda fugly) maybe Maple Natural G? "MNG"?
#2 is usually a designation of a color of stain I believe.
I have bought 2 pairs for $50.00 each, I was using them for surrounds and rears for 7.1 home theater. None of them were in perfect cosmetic condition, actualy more like average or slightly below. I wouldnt think perfect they would be worth more than $150.
Soundwise they are nowhere near as nice as the KG 4,

Thanks for the alert, it was a six hour round trip drive but my klf 20's just got pushed to surround duty! Man those 30's are huge!

In a nutshell these Speakers are the Roll Royce of the Audio world. the sound is just amazing!
I'm open to trades but these speakers sell for well over $1000.00 each plus the free floating stands that make the Speakers look like there floating are $200.00 its a killer deal if you are just looking to buy, but as i said im open to trades.

I know this fellow, I sold him the Chorus 2's. The ad is a bit missleading, he sold the Forte's so its 600 for the chorus and quartets. He changed the header but not the description...I e mailed him.
