  1. max2mc: You have some great speakers there. And you bought four of them? What a way to start a surround sound system. Their worth depends on their condition, which looks pretty good from the picture I saw. I'll keep my eyes open for the upcoming Industrials. Thanks for the info. Tony
  2. max2mc I might be interested in some more LaScalas. I'm also in central AR. Do have any details you can give about the LaScalas that might be available? Thanks, Tony
  3. Uh oh, I have my Beyma CP-25's mounted wrong. Tony
  4. Chris, I've received the Piezo tweeters, but I need to do some "restoration" work on the boxes. I'll post pics when finished. Tony
  5. John posted about the "member list". Could someone please refresh my memory about getting to the member list. I can't seem to find it anymore. Thanks, Tony
  6. The K77 is a tweeter. The K33 is a woofer. Midrange is the K55. Tony
  7. I think I'm one of the earlier ones. Been here since 6/12/99. Tony
  8. Along with the calisis, your left hand will develop strength and cordination in time. Be patient, it takes awhile. This is why most people give up. Start with making chords, and what notes make up the chords. Before you know it, you'll be making simple little "runs". Then "picking out" tunes. One more thing, if you can at all, begin learning the basics of "reading" music. Tony
  9. Any "brand" will do when you're unsure about how long you may or may not play. IMO, the most important thing is that it's easy to play. By that I mean that the strings are fairly easy to push down on the frets. Assuming you're right handed, your left hand and fingers are in for a rude awakening. You'll soon discover what I mean. Tony
  10. My problem with the K77/T35, is that they won't fit in the piezo boxes. I've ordered the piezo tweeters and I've started "restoring" the boxes. We'll see how it turns out. Thanks, Tony
  11. Yep, the gaskets/washers are a separate part. At one point they were $8.00 each. I hope they lowered the price on those as well. Tony
  12. Speaking of "klipsch". Does anyone know what computer "font" comes the closest to the older logo? (with "klipsch" all in lower case) Thanks, Tony
  13. Here are the "new" $50.00 horns. They weigh in at about 5 pounds each. Tony
  14. I received my pair of K401 horns from Klipsch today. At first glance, they appear to be identical to John's horns. I'll post pics later tonight. Tony
  15. I don't recall seeing this model before. I wonder if the cabinets could be "home made". Tony
  16. Yes, Klipsch did use a verital array of 5 tweeters. My problem with the Parts Express tweeters is that they are all 5 3/4 x 2 3/4. The box will only accept 5 3/4 x 2 5/8. It's a tight fit, no extra room. I've got to buy 10 of these, so I want to get it right the first time. Recommendations, please. Thanks, Tony
  17. Michael, This is for my MCM1900 project, so it has to stay as "original" as possible. These are old Klipsch tweeter array boxes that originally came with 5 Motorola piezo tweeters inside. (what model I don't know) Since this is sort of a restoration project, I'd like to use the original boxes. Thanks, Tony
  18. My problem is that to fit the tweeter box (that contains 5 identical tweeters) I need a rectangular horn tweeter that measures 5 3/4" x 2 5/8" exactly. 5 3/4" x 2 3/4" won't fit. Any recommendations? Thanks, Tony
  19. I'm considering using a Pyramid TW12 piezo tweeter for a project of mine. (MCM1900) It's the only tweeter I've found that is physically the right size. (5 3/4" x 2 5/8") These tweeters (5) must fit in the tweeter box, so size is a factor. Opinions wanted, good or bad. Thanks, Tony
  20. I bought some T-35's from him. DeanG is right, he likes to talk. Seriously, he's a good guy. Tony
  21. Chris, Since you own one of these systems, please give me your opinion on the following 2 tweeters at Parts Express. http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/pshowdetl.cfm?&DID=7&Partnumber=270-041 http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/pshowdetl.cfm?&DID=7&Partnumber=270-040 I've also found a tweeter that is exactly the right physical size, the Pyramid TW12. Does anyone have any opinions on this unit? Thanks, Tony
  22. Chris, Do you have the model number of that tweeter, so I know what to order? Thanks, Tony
  23. The 2 way Jubilee was a dream come true for PWK. I'm sure he "studied" on this for many years before it came to be. It should be produced. Tony
