Not trying to take over the thred here but going to show some pics on how i painted my td1's. Cables are still showing and i am not completely done setting everything up, FYI. Painted the horn blue and the shell in black duratex. Looks very very nice.

I always had it racked in amp rack with nothing below or on top of it. Very small blemishes on top of amp which you have to look hard to see. Front face plate and rest of amp is absolute mint. I used to power one tht i had and never pushed hard. I am the original owner purchased in aug last year. Selling because i now am using a ev dc one active crossover and going to use a proamp i have. Speakers sold to a local who saw speakers on CL. He came with a marantz 2325 receiver, heard speakers, and was blown away. I miss these already. These are seriously some great speakers. Thanks for the kind words all who gave me bumps and helped me sell these bad boys. Alex

How about dual BFM thtlp's, one on each side firing into the corner (with a la scala on top of each) 18" hight sounds pretty good. 24" deep is about right for depth of la scala and 72" long (if you have this amount of space.) They play up to 100z and down to 20hz.
