  1. Missed a pair of very local CF-4s for $800. They were posted for about 24 hours.
  2. A forum member asked if the Sunfire amp has any startup noise. Figured to respond here as well. It's always had a 'bump' when turning on and a smaller one when turning off. After a few seconds of turning off it gives a small chirp. Attached is a decent sound clip. You'll have to turn up your volume. The recorder is close to the amp, and you can even hear the slight hum of the amp itself. After the 'chirp', the amp is truly off with the power having left the caps. This amp has been used in our living room HT (RF-7s, RC-7, RS-52s) for about nine years without any issue. I sent it in to Flannery's for a sprucing up only because its 20+ years old. Future proofing is a good thing. Sunfire Cinema Grand On - Off.mp3
  3. Would make an excellent Christmas gift for your loved one.
  4. ATI AT1202 is a also a good one with similar power specs as the UPA-2. For me the ATI has a quieter noise floor. Link to the manual:http://www.ati-amp.com/manuals/at1202manual.pdf Understand if the goal is to keep brand consistency.
  5. Had a couple of those and miss them. Love the gain control knob in the back.
  6. This is very helpful, thanks! Need to find a THTLP or have one built. Keep reading good things.
  7. What were you using to power them?
  8. The lighter marks on the back of the left speaker (in second pic) are just dust.
  9. Hi Tim, I can't make a guess at the shipping cost. Will PM my address and the KLF-20's dimensions so you're able to investigate.
  10. Consecutive serial numbers but very different top grain.
  11. $500. Stock condition, cabinets never opened up. I'm the second owner. Bought these from a Milwaukee estate sale about five years ago. Came from a home where they stayed in the same place. Grilles had never been removed until I purchased. These function perfectly, no problems. I've played them to about 95db and haven't noticed any cabinet glue joint issue. Selling to create more space so I can eventually finish this room. Apologies for the shoddy basement background. Gotta love that wood paneling. It's a good listening getaway though. Pick up only please. Uship or Citizenship is cool with me but you do the arranging.
  12. The KG 2.5 is a great speaker for its size and should be easy to sell, in my opinion. Haven't heard any of the Epic series but look forward to the chance. Congrats on scoring those 4's.
  13. Sorry you have to sell these. Good luck with your sale. I've also had transactions with Mark. Great guy, deal with confidence.
  14. There's a used pair in the Garage Sale section: https://community.klipsch.com/index.php?/topic/187228-pair-of-ki-396-sma-ii-southbury-ct-2000/
  15. Sounds like a kids book waiting to happen! It can educate young kids on how to bring their pets to all public places.
  16. With this I feel like I'm in the back seat.
  17. Years ago a black cherry tree fell in our back yard. I cut the trunk into 8.5 foot lengths, had it rough cut & kiln dried, and planned on making our dining room table. My Dad found a real nice one for $20 at a resale shop. Still haven’t done anything with our black cherry stock. Something like this would be the ticket!
  18. Sweet room and setup! I like the rough cut wood used for the audio rack. What are the vertical pieces?
  19. The cabinet work will be done much better now, your mind contented with good tunes, gear, and drink. I know......worth a try.
  20. We purchased a 17lb turkey from friends who own a very small chicken and turkey farm. $90. Good compared to your online figures, but I'm not going to tell my Mom the cost. She wouldn't have any!
