you might want to check the logitech forums/support.. looks like firmware upgrades may be causing some havoc.

probably if you talking about dvd or blue ray sound effects, no if you're talking about 2 channel music...jmho

these scam artists drown out those that really could use a helping hand. that why i believe a helping hand works best when it works locally...

i noted tonight that as i added ripped cd's to the hard drive, i had to tell the server software to rescan for it to find the new music. the pc does need to be on for listening to ripped cd, obviously, don't know about internet services, will try that in a day or two......

ups delivered today, started at about 7, everything was up and running in about 20 minutes, including downloading the server software. have had zero glitches, listening to radio streamed over the net right now....have been listening to cd's i ripped this past week. yes, the battery compartment door is a little flimsy but not too bad, everything is solid when you get it back in place. there is no delay, i select a different ripped album, it starts instantaneously. sound quality will be assessed over the next few days, so far so good however.

depends. if you're going to keep them, then by all means yes, yes hell yes. if you're going to sell them down the line, be aware that used khorns tend to trend down from your possible purchase price as they age. really, that is a screaming deal, in my opinion.

in the early 80's, i bought a pair of used heresy's, to supplement new HII's. Didn't stack them but kinda side by side and moved them around trying to make the quad sound decent. Sold the used heresy's after a couple weeks, it was a losing game....

tonight the wife and i went to a local store to buy her a bicycle (true story). she had previously scouted them out and wanted to show me her selection, get my input and hopefully load it up in the truck. we found the bikes, pulled her selection off the display and she asks me, "well, what do you think?" i simply asked, "do you think the seat is big enough?" and then the fight started.

if it's the same price, then you need to decide who you think you want to give your money to... best buy buys the item from klipsch at wholesale, klipsch makes some $, and best buy makes some $ when they mark it up again and sell it to the end consumer. if you buy it direct from klipsch, they get their normal profit plus the profit that best buy would have made. note that both klipsch and best buy need to cover additional expenses associated with selling to the final retail customer.

is this wireless between the 'puter and the squeezebox? then a simple rca connection to preamp? if you want to stream from the computer to two audio systems in seperate rooms (ie 2 channel in one room and home theater in another) do you need two squeezboxes? this is interesting, i've been thinking about this althought i admit i'm in the "pre research stage". sorry to be so dense....

and if you ever wanted to sell the 83 corns, you'll probably get your money back, if you buy them at anywhere near mkt prices today...
