  1. Yes, but that's ok the world would be a much duller place: )
  2. I just don't want to blow out my cornwalls. I've been using the HK cuz the THD was just under the denon. In the back of my small mind I've thought maby the tweeter was defective from the start.
  3. Before I bought my cornwalls I had my rc-35 checked out and it had a blown tweeter.Had it replaced and I asked (Jamison audio in Toledo) how it could happen. They said it was my receiver.
  4. I guess my questions should have been 1- which has less distortion and 2- although the denon has more power than the hk by the #s does it "realy" have more. Also the hk in stereo jumps from 45-55 wpc.
  5. I have 2 receivers the first is an HK avr-125 the other is a denon avr-685 I've been using the HK with cornwall III's but which one has less distortion or which is better quality?
  6. depending on their condition, the price for the cornwalls sounds great. And yes I would think the cornwalls would also be the choice if you are going to use them w lascallas in a HT setup.
  7. Over the edge, Drugstore cowboy, After hours, The boy in the bubble, Night shift, The money pit, And how bout THE BURBS. And OMG DOCTOR DETROIT, must find it now.

  12. We live in Toledo Ohio and had a product called (inner channel) installed. They etch about a 4" path around the floor and glue a pannel that guides the water to the sumppump. 8 years no water.
  13. I think you will be pleasently surrprised by there power. Be carefull you could get bit by the heritage bug!
  14. check out accessoriesforless.com
  15. I would say listen to both and go from there. My guess is that if the heresies are in good working condition that would be my choice. Heritage are great for 2,3,5,6 channel setups and 2channel stereo.
  16. That's funny, we both gave about the same answer to each others posts : )
  17. HOLY SMACK! 90 wow yea it's a little under 40 here, not to bad. Anyhoo, thats smart thinking. I'll just find something free to put under it to check out the sound change. But if I like it, how big?
  18. I have a downward firing sub on carpet, and have heard that a sheet of plexiglass placed under it will help improve sound. Sub is 16"x17" wide. What size sheet do I need (LxWxH)?
  19. That's awesome, So if you have the tokens you can set up a cassier window for customers to collect there cash. I would just turn up the stereo to cover up the slots sounds ,neighbors, BWAAHAHAHA.
  20. I would try it with and without and see if it helps enough to offset the wear & tear on your reciever. You be the judge.
  21. Cocoa Montoya ( sp? ) Eric Clapton Buddy Guy Kenny Wayne Sheppard BB Heck how bout the Blues Brothers Or maby Ralph Machio ; )
  22. I run a pair of cornwall III's on an HK 125 and use a JBL pb12 and turn it down quite a lot. When I first got the CW's they needed to break in, and it seems I'm turning down the sub more each day.
  23. Depending on price, oh yea, HECK YEA! they will do just fine. I've only got a HK 125 (55wpc in stereo mode) and they blow me away. Metal ,jazz, blues(my fave) all kinds. Movies with heratage ROCK!!!!
  24. I have 2 plaques on the way. I think they have to have a few ordered before they will make them so it might take a while. Good tip on putting them on the glass tops (which I'm sure I'm getting soon)
  25. I hope my photo shows up. I'm posting from my cell. Also, got my wire from accessories for less 100 feet for under $50
