  3. Justin .. Justin my friend. Contact me dwk.16@home.com I'll work with you if you want on setting up a good system. NO BOSE! I will slap you HARD if you get BOSE! Heres my thoughts for you right now. under 3000$ right? 5.1 setup with small speakers right? Television, and DVD player right? Check out the Synergy 6 setup. for 1000$ Pick up a nice 300 doller Amp/Reciever from Best Buy, with everything you need. Look at a Nice Projection Television for about 1500 at best buy As for the DVD player, Shop around for one you like. A simple DVD with S-Video out would do you good. If you can find reviews.. thats even better. ------------------ Living Room: Yamaha Natural Sound A-500 Stereo Amplifier 2 Klipsch Heresys on A switch 2 Fisher STV-873 on B switch My Room: Klipsch Pro Medias 2 Fisher Surrounds
  4. You could always go to a local electrical store. And see if they will custom make somthing for you. Have them make new wires for you. 16 guage wire (or smaller, or bigger..) hooked up to a 1/8th mono Jack. Shouldnt cost more than 10, .. or 15 bucks for all of them (they may wanna over charge you...) ------------------ Living Room: Yamaha Natural Sound A-500 Stereo Amplifier 2 Klipsch Heresys on A switch 2 Fisher STV-873 on B switch My Room: Klipsch Pro Medias 2 Fisher Surrounds
  5. Have you fiddled with the 1/8th jack? Have you tried moving the speakers around, trying them all on different wires. It sucks, when things dont work. Hopefuly its something simple though. You may fell stupid, but atleast your Pro's Work. ------------------ Living Room: Yamaha Natural Sound A-500 Stereo Amplifier 2 Klipsch Heresys on A switch 2 Fisher STV-873 on B switch My Room: Klipsch Pro Medias 2 Fisher Surrounds
  6. Did you push the button? Is the light RED or Yellow? (maby green) If its RED, its NOT ON! If you have a soundblaster, it will be the two outputs, nearest to the Gamepad port. The BEST place for this, is in the Pro Media 4.1 Forums. Thy are very helpful and knowlageable there about the Pro Medias, the guys here, are more into HT setupts. Make sure you have checked all your computer sound settings. Make sure all the wires are connected properly on the back of the sub. if problems presist after that, contact AMY. The moderator on the Pro Media forums. ------------------ Living Room: Yamaha Natural Sound A-500 Stereo Amplifier 2 Klipsch Heresys on A switch 2 Fisher STV-873 on B switch My Room: Klipsch Pro Medias 2 Fisher Surrounds
  7. LoL I dont got it that bad... Atleast not with the house. 1 Amp, a good amp, should be more than enough to give you what you need for K-Horns. I want a Simple house. Bed Room for me, with 4 Heresys, for mostly quiet music. Bed Room for kids. Kitchen. Theater FUN room. Living room. 3 Bathrooms. And Closets. Pool in back Atleast 2 La Scalas or Heresys in Everyroom. I also REALY want a Good Computer.. thats another thing I am all about.... Something sounds REAL good Is a computer with Dual 1.2 Ghz Athlon MP Processors. Wth Nvidias Graphic Processor for the computer Equal to the one found in the X Box. ------------------ Living Room: Yamaha Natural Sound A-500 Stereo Amplifier 2 Klipsch Heresys on A switch 2 Fisher STV-873 on B switch My Room: Klipsch Pro Medias 2 Fisher Surrounds
  8. I would like to see the recreate the Heretige line. Fully Horn loaded speakers, with the latest technology. I realy wanna see where Mondial goes, and How that works out for Klipsch. Would like to see how Klipsch products and Mondial products work together, and how, if, they make the 2 fit together, like they were made for each other. Also, where the go in the Computer Area. Did they forget bout the customer happieness, and go for the money, by not adding Digital to the new 5.1's or even the 4.1 Pro Media sets? Just so they could sell the new Digital Decoder? Or to leave it open for a new product in the future? I'd also like to see, how they try and move into the Mainstream.. where good money is. Moving them selves into Best Buy, and taking over Bose as the household name in High End speakers amungst normal people. I cant wait, for the day I walk in to Best Buy and back to the Speaker area, and see a Pair of RF-7, a Heresy or anything Klipsch. (Pro Medias in the Computer section doesnt count) ------------------ Living Room: Yamaha Natural Sound A-500 Stereo Amplifier 2 Klipsch Heresys on A switch 2 Fisher STV-873 on B switch My Room: Klipsch Pro Medias 2 Fisher Surrounds
  9. Its funny though, just how much power it takes to drive those things. REcomended 200-1000 watts. Just 1 of those Amps ( there are 3 ) could Barely power it at full. Thats why there are there. Those AMps are 200 watt Stereo Amps. Thats 600 watts per Speaker. You could turn all 3 to MAX and the speakers could still take More. Thats just plane scarey, or wrong. For that price, you could get a REALY nice Klipsch setup. That would be less of a hassle to deal with, and louder. Cant Say, that setup wouldnt be nice though...... Probbobly take it over 2 .. even 4 KHorns.... ------------------ Living Room: Yamaha Natural Sound A-500 Stereo Amplifier 2 Klipsch Heresys on A switch 2 Fisher STV-873 on B switch My Room: Klipsch Pro Medias 2 Fisher Surrounds
  10. Random clicks when playing CD's. They are burnt CD's and I dont have them in cases that could be it. I usualy keep the Bass settings at +5 though. How much more does that increase the.. what ever? PLEASE explain .... lost and confusement. I'm in a real jumbled state of mind. Proboblems with the Girl Friend But, How do the numbers work though. How do you know usualy, how much it is amplifying by looking at those numbers?? You gotta remember, my Grandfather got all this about 30 years ago, Right before college. They use to crank it all the time... And he says that it should be fine, and that he's done it before. But I still.. worry. After breaking my dads Stereo Reciever.. I ... am REAL paranoid.... ------------------ Living Room: Yamaha Natural Sound A-500 Stereo Amplifier 2 Klipsch Heresys on A switch 2 Fisher STV-873 on B switch My Room: Klipsch Pro Medias 2 Fisher Surrounds

  13. Going to go on record as saying Paradigm makes some good speakers. Only heard the Atom and Titans, Mini Monitors, and the Monitor 7's but I was very impressed. But, My friend. Go Klipsch. And if you like the horn Sound... dont go with any of the Reference stuff. Heritage all the way friend. Pick up a pair of Heresys... I havent been able to listen to the RF-5's yet, since they have just been released... but I have heard the RF-3's. Having a pair of Heresys in the House, I would take the Heresys over the RF-3's NE day, and I'm prety sure I would say the same about the RF-5's. Heresys have a Hi, and Mid range Horn. RF's just have a Hi range horn. I also ... not possitive, but I think the Heresys are more effeciant than the Reference speakers. (*** new subject ***) As for the center problem It doesnt realy need to be matched as far as I know, or am concerned. but I could be wrong. (*** new subject ***) 3 Heresys would IMO be your best bet.. Around 1,000 for a pair. Or you could look on Ebay. And For the center, look around Ebay or ask your dealer if they can order a Single one for you, for half the price or something. Hope that Helps you.... ------------------ Living Room: Yamaha Natural Sound A-500 Stereo Amplifier 2 Klipsch Heresys on A switch 2 Fisher STV-873 on B switch My Room: Klipsch Pro Medias 2 Fisher Surrounds

  18. Ok, I understand, atleast.. alot more than before. I guess its my CD's (burnt) or the DVD player (150$ aiwa). Because when I have music on, I heard.. short... .. I wanna say clips... Short *snaping* noises. And I usualy have the system turned up. But never past the half way mark, so I REALY doubt that the Yamaha Natural sound A500 has reached its power limit. And I'm possitive its not giving the Heresys more than 100 watts. 1 more question. On the Yamaha, it has numbers around the volume dial. It starts at like double 0's. 00 Next is 60, then 50 then 40, then 34 then 30 to 24 ro 24.. (not sure past the 30).. ect ect. What the hack is that about??? Do the numbers tell how many watts its putting out? ------------------ Living Room: Yamaha Natural Sound A-500 Stereo Amplifier 2 Klipsch Heresys on A switch 2 Fisher STV-873 on B switch My Room: Klipsch Pro Medias 2 Fisher Surrounds
  19. First, what is clipping. Why does it happen? How can you tell if your Amp is clipping? What does it affect? your speakers? or the amp? I REALY dont understand this subject. 22. Yes. Another Heresy. A single Heresy for the Center. Maby i'm wrong, but a Heresy works better with a Heresy, than a KLF-C7. Check around the forums, people are often giving heads up for Ebay sales, and selling theyer stuff. ------------------ Living Room: Yamaha Natural Sound A-500 Stereo Amplifier 2 Klipsch Heresys on A switch 2 Fisher STV-873 on B switch My Room: Klipsch Pro Medias 2 Fisher Surrounds
