Here's my Mac vinyl setup. Thinking about adding another 275. We'll see... Speakers aren't hooked up to the 275 at the moment, obviously. Replacement cables are almost ready, just waiting on some solder supplies in the mail.

Long week of work and I completely forgot to post pics. The C2500 is behind the center. I'm currently making my own speaker cables for the tube gear, so there aren't any cables to the MC275 at the moment.

That's a curious list. 1) If music is primary, why 'nothing less than 7.1?' I might be in the minority, but 7.1 music is... well, nevermind that. 2) Completely agree that $700 for a preamp processor is very limiting, especially if balanced outputs are desired. 3) Accessories4less is solid. I have 3 Marantz amps or receivers from that site, all purchased over the past 5-8 years that are still going strong despite the fact that they are factory refurbished. I wouldn't let that slow you down, if you find something on there. 4) What sources are you connecting? That would help with the XLR output stuff? 5) I'm a big believer in Marantz, so that would be my recommendation. Pairs well with Klipsch.

Dang gimes, what are the odds of you having the same amp/pre-amp as me....AND living right up the road. I'm in N. Chas, right up the road. Hey you looking for Belles or Cornwalls....or another 275 VI so you can run a pair in mono??? Wow, that is definitely crazy. Always good to find another Klipsch/McIntosh lover. Ummm, I'm not interested in more speakers, already got two other sets that I'm not using (RF-5s and some Energy bookshelfs). An additional MC275 is intriguing... would probably depend on the price, condition, use, etc.

I had the SVS 25-31. I that really liked that sub: very clean SQ and great with movies and music. I've had the SVS for 8 years now, and I've never felt the need to replace it. Only recently did I even consider it, but the cylindrical shape, I find, makes it much easier to place. I don't use it much for music these days, I let the 7's with the Mac gear handle the music on their own.

I'll have some up tomorrow. Actually doing some rearrangement today.

Thanks, its taken awhile to get it all assembled but its been worth it. The system sounds outstanding as is, don't think i'll make any changes for a long time. We all say that at some point, right? Hey, you're in Charleston. I'm right next door in Goose Creek.

Does anyone know how many sets were in this Limited run? I love mine, never heard how many they produced?

Thanks, thats a good thought. But honestly, in this area (Norfolk), I'm not sure that I would trust craigslist. I've been witness to quite a few sketchy dealings, but its probably worth looking into anyway. When you get this specific, I suppose its easier to pick out a solid sell. Thanks.
