  1. @The History Kid just saw this. Good deal on the RSW-15 but what the heck on the Parasound? Is just the output jack fried? Or do you see circuitry arond it burnt or what?
  2. couple funny guys right there
  3. Anybody ever heard that before?
  4. Ok just looked up the Tritons. You need to auditon the Heresy IV before you jump. They are going to sound different.
  5. An Ak3 in a LaScala? Does it sound OK? Looks like the Fc of the lowpass filter is about 251 Hz. Is this ok @Deang?
  6. I agree completely with @Peter P.. Bad crimp, cold solder joint under that heat shrink tubing, even a broken wire are all possibilities.
  7. So your meter responds to the tweeter terminals on the good crossover but on bad one shows nothing? Verify there is signal at first 2uf cap on the left, then follow through to the output.
  8. I read that they would give him $466 trade in if he bought a pair at $1050 each. So 2 x 1050-466=1634. At least that's how I read it.
  9. I have no idea...but if you get a good deal on the Heresy IV could you not sell your current speakers for the trade in value or possibly more? It is worth a phone call I think. Curious you have never heard these or any other Klipsch Heritage speakers? You need to audition if not...some people do not like the "sound"...they don't like horns I guess.
  10. Call Cory at Paducah Home Theater.
  11. Is there a schematic for this B & K Sound crossover?
  12. So did you then hook it back up and it is still not working? I'm thinking maybe you had an oxidized connection at the crossover and now if you re connect it will work. Those tweeters are fragile beasts. Many of us have blown 1 or 2.
  13. Ah..if you're on the interstate you are not supposed to decelerate until you are on the exit ramp...... just sayin'
  14. It can't be done, it's impossible, we'll all be killed Of course you can split a low impedance output (like the sub out from your receiver) through a Y cable into 2 relatively high input impedance inputs. Will you have phase cancellation problems at the low freqs? that you can hear? Maybe. But 2 subs will help out with room modes but you know that, that is why you have 2.

  18. I think .....read THINK Trey was part of the layoff a little while back.
  19. Roy, @Chief bonehead is this guy @HenningO SOL? No current Klipsch driver or replacement diaphragm will work in his Palladium tweeters? Maybe he will have to replace both L and R even though only one is blown to keep them matched?
  20. Kinda like this...?
