  1. I have a rarely and gently used Yamaha RX-V2700 for sale. This was Yamaha's second from the top in 2007 and sold for $1700. It's a monster rated at 140W per 7 channels. I'm selling to free up some cash to buy some other toys. Pictures to come tomorrow. I have original box and accessories to ship safely. Paypal only please. http://usa.yamaha.com/products/audio-visual/hifi-components/stereo-receivers/rx-v2700_black__u/?mode=model
  2. Nothing in my opinion. I've been a very happy owner of multiple Onkyo products. Apparently Shakey has a different opinion. This is a good deal for a couple of entry level receivers.
  3. Onkyo receivers on woot for $199 and $299 http://www.woot.com/offers/onkyo-5-2-or-7-2-network-a-v-receiver
  4. I received this as a gift for Christmas and I have decided to part ways with it. It takes excellent pictures while incorporating all features that a smartphone or tablet have. I just don't think I will use it enough to justify the cost, and it's another device to carry. In addition to the camera you will also receive a Shoot & Share On The Go Accessory Kit which includes a carrying case, screen protector, and battery charging kit with an extra battery. These are selling on Amazon for $368.99, the accessory kit sells for $69.99. I will let this go for $300 plus shipping to the CONUS. Camera is in Like New Open Box condition. Paypal only please, thanks for looking. http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Galaxy-Camera-Android-Optical/dp/B00C7EPVHY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1388758686&sr=8-1&keywords=samsung+ek-gc110
  5. Who's got 'em? Particularly the Noise Cancelling versions. Thoughts, comparisons, etc.
  6. what is ratio for HT/music??? Do you plan on using this system more for movies/tv or listening to music and at what ratio? 50/50, 80/20, etc..
  7. As far as sound goes, it's subjective. Because of their price point, the B&Ws should sound better, but to some they may not. I would recommend if you haven't already, demo them at your friends house and decide if they sound better to you than your RVXs. Just because they cost more doesn't always mean they will sound better, especially to your particular ear.
  8. The speakers you mention look nice and I'm sure they sound great. After reading a quick review of them, it sounds like they will require much more power than your Klipsch's so that's another factor to keep in mind, not knowing what you're currently using to power your RVX setup.
  9. I have not owned any of the Icon W line, however I have owned every speaker in the Icon X line (except the subs: xw-500d & xw-300d) which utilize the same drivers and horns. I absolutely love the sound they produce and IMO it's the best looking speaker Klipsch has ever produced. The bad news is that they are discontinued and hard to find. The good news is that when they do appear you can generally buy them for exceptional prices. I bought 3 pair of XL-12s BNIB for $110 per pair on eBay a few months back. I'm listening to a pair of XL-12s at my desk as I write this post. For reference it's a 26" monitor.
  10. hmmm... Please answer the following 3 questions. How old are you? What's your occupation? Smoker? Daily commute? Maybe I'll buy them then sell them to you.
  11. This is the first pic I've ever seen of Palladiums with grills!? I didn't even know they came with grills. So beautiful and would love to have them, maybe some day. GLWS!
  12. The 2 gifts I was most excited for were my new camera, Samsung EK-GC110 http://www.samsung.com/us/photography/digital-cameras/EK-GC110ZWAXAR and I inherited an old Philco Radio. Needs some work but I'm really looking forward to restoring this bad boy. I'm planning on finishing it to match my KG4s that I refinished and somehow using the tube amp on the Philco to push my KG4s. Probably going to need some forum support to pull it off.
  13. OBO really means OBO in this scenario guys. She just moved from a 3500 sq. ft. home to a 950 sq. ft. apartment. She wants this system gone ASAP.
  14. SOLD I have some Definitive Technology Speakers for sale. Items are gently used and are in good cosmetic shape. Both speakers function as they should. Below are the model numbers that I have available at this time. DefTech Qty:2 BP-2004 $350 for the pair I can't ship these so first one with cash to my door takes them home, price is firm, these are listed below market value and not willing to go any lower, I don't need the money I just don't intend to use them and don't want them taking up the space and prefer they get used by someone. Thanks.
  15. ha, interesting on many different levels. thanks for posting.
  16. Still have my HD-A30 as well and use it in my garage/gym. Unfortunately I made the wrong investment initially into HDDVDs. Mainly because I owned an XBOX 360 and was able to add on the HDDVD Drive for $200 as opposed to buying a stand alone HDDVD Player for $500. I purchase around 35 HDDVDs in the first year or so. Early on it seemed as if HDDVD had the momentum. Oh well, you live and you learn. GLWS
  17. I haven't watched them yet or seen any of the films for that matter, but I landed The Lord of the Rings Trilogy last night at Wal-Mart for $6.96. I thought for that price I'd give them a look, I'm not generally into these films but hey... I checked online but the price there is $19.96 and is out of stock. I'm also not sure if it was just my local Wal-Mart or not but I thought others might want to take a look. Here's the link for the set I bought... http://www.walmart.com/ip/Lord-Of-The-Rings-The-Motion-Picture-Trilogy-Fellowship-Of-The-Ring-Two-Towers-Return-Of-The-King-Blu-ray-Widescreen/21805544

  19. Just give Klipsch customer service a call @ 800-KLIPSCH. They should have replacement on the shelf in stock. Probably around $60-$80 each? Hope that helps.
  20. Wow what a good deal! GLWS they should go fast. I've been looking at EMO gear a lot lately. If someone doesn't snag it today I may be interested.
  21. 1.) 2001 Lincoln LS (First car I bought and paid for) 2.) 2009 Nismo 370Z #274/500 (Dream car, I'm a sucker for rear wheel drive 2 seater sports cars) 3.) 2008 Jeep SRT8 (Practical replacement when my wife and I got pregnant and a 2 seater wouldn't work anymore. If you consider 450HP and 8 MPGs practical)
