  1. I told him I would pass any feedback along. I felt the same way.
  2. Local business man I know is selling some gear. I have heard it and seen it. Looks good and sounds good. I will see if I can get some photos. http://littlerock.craigslist.org/ele/4593194010.html
  3. No one can argue he is genius! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Wow. I just watched some of that video. That's very interesting. I personally do not like that design! I don't like the idea of depending on a power transformer all my neighbors are also depending on. Power transformers don't carry the same characteristics so that adds a variable. I don't personally care if an amp weighs 200lbs or 10lbs, I want it to perform on its own without having to rely on an outside source. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I'm driving RF-7's with it. Extremely efficient, so no, your right about not needing the power! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. About 6 months ago I got a good deal on a Carver M1.5t. Based on a majority of reviews I read I bought it. Initially I was very pleased with it and thought it sounded great. At this point though, I am kind of tired of the sound. When I crank the volume I find the amp losing low end considerably. There's no problem with the amp operationally. I found myself going back to my hafler DH-220 in favor of the Carver!! Anyone else have any experience with the Carver amps? Similar or otherwise? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. He said "have". Might be worth the drive. Lol.

Hate to see you go. You will be missed. Thanks for all you have done for the brand and the forum! Best wishes.

    Save Amy!

Then, as a bonus, we could start using screws and plywood again and not hot melt and mdf.

    What did I miss?
  13. Ok! Ok! Lol. I'm never gonna sell them and quite possibly will never move but I guess there is something to be said for having them. Abort.
  14. I am in Central Arkansas and have no use for my RF-7 boxes. These are big boxes and I don't have the room for them. If you want them shoot me a pm! I have all the Styrofoam pieces as well as the plastic that goes over them. Not really interested in shipping them.
  15. Awesome! Congrats! Now you'll be up all night listening to your "new" speakers! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Great looking car!! Congrats and be safe!!

    WTF ?

Agreed and understood..... IF someone asks' the value of something as opposed to listing the item for sale. This thread is in reference to selling, not appraising. Someones sale ad isn't the place to discuss value.
  18. Welcome to the forum! Good luck with your search.

    WTF ?

Just go on the assumption that I only see things when they are reported to me. I can't read every single post! Amy is correct. Most of the forum moderators like myself have jobs, families and other priorities apart from the forums. Amy and Chad are paid Klipsch employees but we have to remember the forums are not their sole responsibility. They have other responsibilities as well. I don't think any of us desire to "police" the forum, yet when we see something that is inappropriate, we will address it. This has been discussed and debated MANY times. Here are my thoughts on the matter..... There isn't any "written policy" as this is an open forum but the general guideline that Amy has requested we all adhere to is that if someone lists an item in the Garage Sale that they are selling, it is best that pricing isn't discussed UNLESS the seller asks for advice on pricing. PM would be the best method to communicate to the seller that their pricing is out of line. Let's say you list a pair of RF-7's with an asking price of $1200. It is of absolutely no benefit for me to state in their ad that they are way overpriced because I only paid $400 for my RF-7's, or that I have seen them typically sell for $800 especially when I have absolutely no intention of buying your RF-7's. Immediately, I have hindered the seller's ability to even get close to their asking price. When there is bantering about price, typically the seller gets frustrated and we end up seeing "Item is no longer for sale" and frankly, I can't blame them for doing so. We have to remmeber it is a seller's right to list their item for whatever price they so choose (whether the price is inflated or not). It is the buyer's responsibility to do their homework to see if the item is close to fair market value and it is an amount they themselves are willing to pay. If someone expresses interest and you are absolutely concerned that the buyer is getting "gouged", shoot them a PM. Well said, Sir!
  20. On a side note....I weighed the drivers on the RF-7 and they weigh 15.8lbs each. So 31.6lbs, roughly 1/3rd of the total weight of each speaker, is the 10" drivers. Not really important just thought I would throw that out there.
