SOLD I have decided to sell my Threshold 400a amplifier. The most interesting thing with this amp is that it was completed restored/upgraded by Jon Solderberg. I had this done recently, about six months ago. So needless to say, the amp preforms flawlessly. It's one of the late model 400a designs, with the removeable power cord. It sounds just wonderful and is quite the value to get into a Class A amplifier. It is 100 watts into 8 ohms and 200 watts into 4 ohms. Should last another 30+ years. I'm only considering the sale of it to save up for some home projects my wife wants to do this year. I had thought this amp would be with me for many more years to come, but alas, life goes on. I need to downsize. I purchased the amp for $1300 and then spent another $1300 in the upgrade/restoration/shipping with Jon Soderberg. I am into the amp for $2600, but am willing to take a loss on it to move it on to the next home. I have the receipt detailing the work Jon did on the amp. It will be included of course. I would be willing to sell for SOLD

No I bought the one off Audiogon, directly from Mark Deneen. These are great preamps. I especially like the option of Hi/Lo impedance selection, standby feature and home theater bypass.

SOLD Due to having several preamps in the house and some recent purchases, I have decided to part ways with my Threshold SL-10. This is a Class A, direct coupled, full function preamp. It is in excellent condition throughout and was restored by Jon Soderberg back in 2014 (I have the receipt showing around $650 for restoration/upgrades). Separate power supply included. It is very quiet and pleasure to listen to. Internal MM/MC is adjustable and sounds great. I used it for a while in conjunction with my Joule Electra preamp, with the SL-10 serving phono stage duty. The balance control was taken out of the circuit by Jon, per recommendation for a more direct signal path. All caps were upgraded/replaced along with the RCA jacks. The volume control was upgraded to an Alps Blue potentiometer. Jon is apparently the best guy around with SS Threshold gear, and was personally recommended by Nelson Pass. I'll take $1050 shipped for it. If interested further, I'll email plenty of pics. SOLD

These are the original capacitors Craig chose for these units. I'm not home at the moment, and I cant remember the name of them off hand.

SOLD I'm going to offer my Doors box set up for grabs. This was done by Analogue Productions and limited to 2500 copies. 45rpm. All the jackets are very thick gatefolds. Attached below is a link showing the making of this set from the master tapes. The box itself is is very nice 9/10 condition. The records are all minty. I only played some of them. The sound is just incredible. Trying to stir up some post holiday cash. $325 shipped SOLD

SOLD I have decided to sell my NBS preamp. It comes with the custom built wood case made out of cherry. This one has both the MM and MC phono section, along with the 6H30 circuit as opposed to the 6922's also offered by Craig. Low hours and excellent condition throughout. I will include some NOS Mullard tubes in the phono section; the 5AR4 and 6H30 will be stock tubes from Craig. It took my Joule Electra LA-300ME Platinum to top the sound of this unit, and it is five times the price. Would love to keep it, but I've got too much gear and could use the cash. It's been sitting in the closet for too long. $2000 + shipping....for anyone interested further, I'm happy to send pics to your email address and speak over the phone.
