  1. Thats what i was wondering as well bob, xover frequency, think you could get away with something higher than 500?
  2. Those are good but, Im looking for a plot of the MWM only, no xover, just looking for the raw plot frequency response for the LF bin only.
  3. Nice build man, i always appreciate nice woodworking.
  4. Just wondering if anyone has any plots for the LF- KPT-MWM-LF?
  5. Im thinking its tuned to blow your pants off !!!!
  6. I have two ps3's in operation in my house. i have the orignal FAT PS3. I bought is specifically for the Blu ray player, Believe it or not it was the cheapest Blu ray player on the market. Having said that i adopted Blu ray right after the decision was made between HD DVD and Blu Ray DVD. Other than being fat, The thing is fantastic, and then when i bought my 3D TV, all i had to do was a software upgrade and i was good to go. I do not game on it at all. i use it specifically for movies and music. HDMI to the TV, and optical out to the receiver. not sure about the True HD issues ppl are discussing, but my system sounds good. i see the autosensing on my receiver changing on occassion to accomodate new and older blu ray recordings. The FAT blu ray is now specific for music and 3d movies only. On my PS3 SLIM, that is HDMI out to my projector, and optical out to the receiver above. i project of a flat white wall with a 9ft diagonal picture. For both PS3s above, i would do HDMI out to treceiver and then to TV or projector, but my receiver does not have HDMI. My recommendation is buy one, you wont be disappointed, having said that, i dont game, i am not a gamer, not sure of the gaming experience on the ps3. XBOX vs PS3 for gaming is a different thread.
  7. Thats one nice looking Belle you got there mister.
  8. HA, so its not just me....I had to downsize my tree to get my sub in, now the tree has to go on the sub. yep....
  9. for sure, under the tree stand i have some towels down so nothing gets damaged. Nutcrackers inside the jubs keeps wife happy, life is good. happy wife, happy life...lol
  10. Yeah, sorry guys, sometimes i have to give and take a little to get my way too. Its all good.
  11. I dont think i'd make that trade man. The Chorus II's are super fantastic. i think with the large woofers, they'd dig deeper. I could be wrong, I've never heard the RF7. either way i'd keep the Chorus II's. Dont get me wrong im not knocking the RF7's its just my preference.
  12. Sub will make a big difference with the Heresy's. i had two sets of heresy's and now down to a single set. Invest in the sub, you wont turn back. I used a KTSW15, was great. I've also tried a paradigm pw1200 as well. If your using 2 channel, it should be lickity split to integrate.
  13. Well, now that black Friday is over, Christmas is in full swing here. If your home is anything like mine, we love Christmas. Every year, we use our klipsch speakers as high end decoration stands for everything christmas. This year is no different, its another klipsch christmas in my home. Here are a couple pictures of our decorated Klipsch speakers. Lets see your klipsch christmas speakers . Picture 1 is KPT684 used as a Christmas tree stand
  14. dont do anything, find the closest corners and shove them in and your off...
  15. Nice, its not easy being Green.
  16. now you've done it. unleash the fury within....
  17. KG's are good too, and affordable. i have three pairs of KG2's. i got all three for $225 but the passives needed to be replaced in each one.
  18. Lol. I was at best buy the other day, and my wife saw these small bose speakers and says..."Oh babe their cute"....my response was "exactly". OK on a serious note, buy the KLF's for sure.
  19. My two cents is as follows. Get the Cornwall's if you can. i had my cornwall II's for about 20 years before i sold them. next up would be the forte II. it will have the klipsch sound with deeper base than the heresey. i do have a pair of Heresy's which i've owned since 1996. Currently one is a centre channel between my "jubilee's. keeps up ok.
  20. I heard you tried to move to the us $1 coin?
  21. This is the last year for the penny here in Canada, It will be removeded from production after this year. ie, there wont be a 2013 penny in canada. It should fizzle out of circulation after that. We have also moved to Polymer bills(hate em). I dont particularly like them but apparently it will save money, as they will last longer, with several security features. i did like the cotton/paper bills. Islander, take a new 50 and put the clear maple leaf right up to your eye...look very closely... Anyway, i just wondered what the deal was with $2 bill, i also noticed that the US money has a little color to it now.
