Khorn4 replied to tnr's topic in Garage Sale
Still listen to FM at work. We have a very nice Jazz station here locally. I have the same tuner, has served me well over the years. Good luck with your sale. -
Hi Greg, I also have 0 warning points, not sure what that means? Love your speakers and upgrades, can't wait to do some work on my Klipschorns. Good luck with your move to TN.

Hum! I live in Central CA, Hum.....I wonder where they would go. One of the kids may have to give up their bedroom.

Wish I was closer, I would buy in a heartbeat. Would go great with my K-horns.

Very interesting cabinet. Would like to see more of it. I'm building something similar to this for a second system.

Welcome elg, I'm also from CA. The P-37's sound incredible. I have not heard the others but P-37's would be mine if I could afford them. have to settle for my Khorns for now.

Cornwalled, I have a Carver M-500t. I have had it for several years. Has been a great amp and sure like the sound of it. But I have had the same problem that you are experiencing. It seems to be something in the amp filtering, what I've been told? Was very inexpensive to repair. Khorn4

fbauer those are amazing speakers. In another life I would be at your door with my truck ready to haul them off. Good luck with your sale and school. Khorn4

Hey crustywon, wish I could snag that nice marantz from you. Just don't have space for seperates. Your system is beautiful, love your Klipsch Belles. That center channel looks pretty familiar. Good luck with your sale. Sal

If I was closer or had some way to get these beauties to California they would sit next to my K-horns. My kids are all little and take so much time. When I get to sit and listen to my system, it is an absolute treat. Its interesting, I have a nice pair of JBL L880's that I use for HT. If I'm playing that system my kids will ask me to switch the music to the K-hornies as my daughter says. My 5 yr old son already asked me to give him the K-horns someday. Told him he will be waiting a Looooooong time. Good Luck, and yes this would be a great system to own. K-horn4

Both speakers have been sold, glad they are going to good homes and fellow Klipsch Forum members. Thanks Guys! Have to admit I had a tear or two as I packed the first speaker. Felt like I was sending my best friend away. I will probably start balling as I pack the second. Must be strong, I can do it.............baaaaaaaaaaaawaaaaa! Hummm, just saw a pair of klipsch forte's in the local paper for sale.....I feel better already!!!!!!

One Academy has been sold...Thanks crustywon!

Beautiful set-up. Took me 30 yrs to get my K-horns, was worth the wait! Enjoy those girls!

Looks like one of the Academy speakers will be sold this weekend. Still have one left. Thanks!
-
LOL...yes, his wife did mention that about painting them to match the curtains. I cringed and bit my lip.

These Academy speakers are still available if anyone is interested in them. I had pending sale but WAF prevented him from going thru with purchase. Thanks....Khorn4 formally Cornwall4

Thanks Tigerman! My room is approx. 20x20 and yes my K-horns need room to breath. They continue to amaze me with their incredible sound. The two channel Klipsch Academy speakers and sub have a very nice controlled sound. I am using Energy FPS speakers for the 7.1 surround sound system. I am using a Marantz PM8004 intergrated amp and SA8004 SACD with the K-horns. Saving up for some Mac's tube amps.
