  1. I would buy 10 and look for 8 more speaker's to fix
  2. Lead as an additive to paint was abandoned years ago in this country probably in many others as well. Apparently not in China. In the past lead was added to make the paint glossy. IE more appealing. Not to make it cheaper. Did the Chineese manufactures think those toys were going to be played with by adults or children?

  4. Me thinks those meals were mostly bought to shut the brat up
  5. Ill blame all the grand parents that took their bratty grandkids to eat there. They should have known better right from the start.
  6. Do you think Mickey Ds specified that the toys be painted with lead based paint?
  7. Forgot about the baby formula. But I remember the drywall, pet food and the lead based painted toys that was given away with a happy meal
  8. The crossover has been removed from the input cup and the terminals weren't reinstalled correctly. It looks like there is a piece missing. Sourcing new terminals in the EU shouldn't be difficult.
  9. That could be a photo from the Aral sea disaster
  10. The 105 dB @ 1watt is that the driver alone or with the horn? I suspect it's the driver by itself. The 110dB for the Chorus was likely measured on the horn.
  11. I've been using a playstation 3 for a streamer/bluray/cd player. Gaming platforms normally have a very rugged player made for continuous use.
  12. I really like my 301lls. Mine had new tweeter diaphragms when I got them. I changed the mid and tweeter caps because I had those on hand when in had them open. The mids are a bit foward when used alone. A good sub will take care of that. I've seen them used in a dj set up as top cabs with 18" subs. I was using mine alone until I found a pair of mwm singles.
  13. That's the mentality that everyone is guilty until you prove otherwise. You don't have to prove the absence of a disease, maybe imigrants when entrering the country but not citizens already here. Last week and before my temp was taken before I could work now thats not enough. What changed?
  14. Sure, stores are privately owned and the owner can require one. But the government shouldn't be allowed to mandate it.
  15. Have you ever hear of the rainbow people? They'll camp in national parks and forests. When a park ranger stop's to check on them , they'll strip naked and start yelling "Guns in the Church!" One year they camped in the monongahela national forest. They came Webster Springs to do shopping and the IGA manager asked them to cover up and provided them towels. Women can walk around bare breasted in NYC.
  16. Wear a space suit if that is the level of protection you need.
  17. Even back then people knew breathing on each other could spread illness. One of the reasons for preserving food was so you didn't have to leave the house if you got sick.
  18. Plenty of nudist colonies in this country if thats what your into. I think I would get quickly banned at such places.
  19. Me? I don't go anywhere. I live in a very rural area and just filled my freezer a month ago. I don't go into stores much at all. I buy groceries as they come out of the fields and meat from the livestock auctions.
  20. Forced mask wearing is imo contrary to the principles of individual liberty and freedoms which this country was founded on. Wear one if YOU wish to.

Wrong guess. Grew up around guns. No place for fmj bullets when hunting. Fmj are far more likely to ricochet than soft pointed ones. Armor piercing military surplus even more so. Lead tipped bullets not freindly for what is on the business end. Soft bullets are much easier to stop 06 fmj bullets will shoot thru a box of magazines. Armor piercing 8mm Mauser will penatrate 1/2 rail road steel and are stupid cheap I use a 30-06 for varmints. Pointed soft point boattail 150 gr. hand loaded to around 2800 fps. Sure it's overkill and loud but I'm always sure of my back stop

A few years ago in a neighboring Township two guys were target shooting AR 15s at paper targets with no back stop other than a couple hundred yards of woods. Some of the rounds hit a house about a mile away. They were arrested but the judge let then off because they were part time LEOs and had training on firearms. They just made an error in judgment on the what is a proper back stop.

I get your point. But what about the few who think a little bit of woods is enough to stop armor piercing 8mm Mauser.

IMO a logical aproach to the mass shooting problem would be to eliminate all of the cheap military surplus full metal jacket ammunition. If 5.56 ammo cost $20-25 for a box of 20 like other calibers people would be less likely to stockpile thousands of rounds.
